Report sent in by Calvin Wong

Just got back from the ECW and Smackdown taping from
    Boston.

About 10 minutes before start time, we get a video
package of everything the WWE does ranging from being
    pop culture to charity work.

Justin Roberts welcomes us to the show and tells us
that later tonight we'll see a taping for Smackdown
    following ECW on SciFi.

    Dark Match

Scotty 2 Hotty vs. Kevin Thorn w/Ariel
Scotty got a nice pop while Thorn and Ariel got some
good heat. So get this, its a Smackdown wrestler vs.
an ECW wrestler in an ECW ring with a Smackdown
referee. Typical match with Thorn dominating most of
the match until Scotty makes a come back. Scotty hits
the chop follow the Worm, but Thorn kicks out. Thorn
drapes Scotty on the top rope and hits his neckbreaker
    finisher for the pinfall.

    Winner: Kevin Thorn

Good to get the crowd pumped.

Tazz and Joey Styles are introduced. We start off
with a video package of Lashley/Big Show from last
week and here we go with the ECW on Scifi intro.
Tonight's main event will be Bobby Lashley vs.
    Heyman's Enforcers.

    Rob Van Dam vs. Test
Match wasn't spectacular, but both got to hit most of
their spots. RVD goes for the Five Star Frog Splash,
but Test moves out of the way. Test picks up RVD for
a powerbomb, but it gets countered into a sunset flip
attempt. Test botches the spot and grabs the top rope
in front of the ref. Test lets the rope go and the
ref turns his attention to the mat while he grabs the
middle rope. Test with the pinfall victory.

    Winner: Test

CM Punk vs. Hardcore Holly later tonight.

The ring crew comes out to set up the classroom.

Matt Striker comes out talking about the history of
Boston and then proceeds to run the town down. Good
stuff. Got some odd stares from little kids for
yelling out that I agree with Striker and that Boston
sucks. Fun playing a heel at these events. Striker
talks about how Boston's athletes are no good with
balls. This leads to him calling out Balls Mahoney
who graces us with his presence. Striker makes
comparisons between Balls and Boston. After Balls had
enough, he starts to beat on Striker with his
signature punches with the crowd chanting. Striker
actually kicks him in the balls when he was winding up
and hopes he's not feeling blue.

    CM Punk vs. Hardcore Holly
Sadly, the reaction for Punk wasn't that great. There
were chants here and there, but nothing like the
crowds in other towns. This was a fairly short match
with Punk hitting most of his spots. The end came
when Holly kept beating down Punk in the corner going
over the 5 count. Punk wins by DQ.

    Winner by DQ: CM Punk

Holly argues with the referee over the decision and is
about to go back to giving him a beating, but Punk
comes back putting Holly on the ground locking in the
    Anaconda Vice.

Tommy Dreamer comes out to the ring for the next
match. Dreamer grabs the mic and challenges Khali.
Khali comes out with Daivari. Daivari decides to
accept the challenge himself and clocks Dreamer with
    the mic.

Tommy Dreamer vs. Daivari w/The Great Khali
Very short match with Dreamer hitting a DDT after
Khali hit him in the back from the outside out of no
where on Daivari for the win.

    Winner: Tommy Dreamer

Dreamer rolled to the outside only to be met by Khali
who gives him a choke bomb on the onto the mat outside
    the ring.

Elijah Burke along with Sylvester Terkay cut a promo
about how they're the greatest fighting duo. Looks
like the team will be called the Tap Out Knock Out
    Connection.

    Handicap Match

Bobby Lashley vs. Paul Heyman's Special Enforcers
Pretty much what you would expect. Lashley used power
moves. The end came when he hit one of the enforcers
with the spear and a dominator for the win. The other
enforcer tried to come back in, but also got a spear
    and dominator.

    Winner: Bobby Lashley

The ring crew comes out to change the set for the
    Smackdown taping.

Tony Chimmel lets us know that in a few moments the
show will start to get the crowd pumped.

We get the Smackdown Intro and a pyro display.

The first one out to the ring is John Cena to cut a
promo. The crowd went nuts which is quite funny since
Summerslam was her and the crowd was heavily booing
him. Cena says he's out here for 3 reasons. 1. He
lives here. 2. He wants to give Michael Cole his
Christmas presents. Cena goes outside the ring and
grabs a basket for him. Its contents...a large salami
followed by a picture of David Hasselhoff without a
shirt on and a giant bag of salty nuts because we all
know how much Michael Cole loves nuts. 3.
Armeggeddon. He says history will be made among other
things. King Booker along with Sharmell and Finlay
show up. He says that Batista was vanquished and
shows a clip of the beating he received last week.
Booker then says they're going to give him the same
beating. The two are outside the ring and Batista
runs into the ring. Batista and Cena are ready for a
fight. Teddy Long makes his way to the ring. He
wants them to remember that they have their tag match
at Armeggeddon. Tonight he books Cena vs. Finlay.

We're shown a recap of London and Kendrick's loss to
    Regal and Taylor last week.

Jimmy Wang Yang, Paul London, and Brian Kendrick
w/Ashley vs. Gregory Helms, William Regal, and Dave
    Taylor
A short but fun match to watch with some nice spots.
No indications during this match of the problems
between London and Kendrick. Kendrick played the face
in peril and Yang got the hot tag. Nice spots from
Yang. Regal and Taylor decide to abandon the match
and walk to the back. London and Kendrick stand on
the ring apron daring them to come back. Helms looks
out and sees his partners walking out. He turns
around and gets a moonsault from Yang who pins him for
    the win.

Winners: Jimmy Wang Yang, Paul London, and Brian
    Kendrick

    Matt Hardy vs. Joey Mercury
Excellent match for the time it was given. Matt Hardy
takes the victory with a Twist of Fate followed by a
    pin.

    Winner: Matt Hardy

Layla El comes out to the ring for the "Sign Up"
segment where she was showing the best signs. Pretty
    much all mark signs.

MVP is shown in the back talking to his agent to try
to get him out of the inferno match on Sunday.
Kennedy walks in and tells him he needs to focus on
the tag match tonight. They agree they need to be on
the same page tonight and shake hands on it.

The lights are out and the song of the druids is
played as the hearse is driven out to the aisle.

Undertaker and Kane vs. Mr. Kennedy and Montel
    Vontavious Porter "MVP"
The match was pretty much the same flow as 2 weeks
ago. MVP is knocked to the outside. Kane and Taker
double chokeslam Kennedy. The Brothers of Destruction
signal the tombstone. Taker lifts up Kennedy for the
tombstone, but MVP pulls him off and out of the ring.
Taker and Kane follow to battle it out. The referee
calls for the bell so it looks like a double count
out. Taker and MVP battle to the back. Kennedy sends
Kane into the steps. Kennedy climbs into the driver's
seat of the hearse. MVP runs back out to beat on
Kane. He waves Kennedy on to run over Kane. Lights
out and we get a gong. I can see Taker running back
out. Lights on and Taker is sitting in the passenger
side. Kennedy and Taker look at each other. Kennedy
freaks out and gets out of the hearse to MVP. Both of
them walk to Kane's immobile body, but another gong
and he sits up. Kennedy and MVP freak out and run to
the back. Taker and Kane pose for the crowd and
    leave.

Funaki vs. Chavo Guerrero w/Vickie Guerrero
Chavo takes the mic and demands that Benoit publicly
apologizes to Vickie and the crowd. He goes on about
how Benoit hit a woman and demands that he come out.
Benoit comes out to the ring dressed in some nice
threads. Benoit says he didn't do anything and has
nothing to apologize for. Not even what he's gonna do
to Chavo at Armeggeddon. Benoit steps outside away
from the ring to watch the match. Chavo pretty much
squashes Funaki in a short match. Chavo hits a
brainbuster followed up by a frog splash for the win.

    Winner: Chavo Guerrero

Following the match, Benoit gets in the ring and puts
Chavo on the ground to lock him in a sharpshooter.
Chavo taps while Vickie slaps Benoit to try to get him
to release the hold. Benoit just keeps smiling.
Benoit finally releases the hold and walks towards
Vickie who just crouches down begging not to be hurt.
Benoit looks at her for a while and leaves.

Jillian Hall comes out for the Kiss Cam. One of the
"couples" was actually near where I was sitting. It
was actually 2 guys who had been pretty loud the
entire night and were more smart mark friendly. They
just flipped off the camera. There were a few couples
who wouldn't kiss on the cam. I figured either they
were just friends or were related.

    Now for a filler match.

    Vito vs. Sylvan
Thankfully Vito didn't wear a thong this time around.
Vito did his typical antics and won the match with a
    schoolboy.

    Winner: Vito

Lights out and a segment is set up.

We have a table with three platters with silver covers
on them. The Miz makes his way to the ring with
Kristal. Miz says he's not afraid of the Boogeyman
because he's done it all in his reality shows. He's
gonna prove that he can eat gross things as well with
Kristal as his assistant. First platter is pig
tongue. Miz shows it to the crowd and eats it. No
problem. Next is monkey brains. Miz shows it and
takes a bite. No problem. Last is worms. Miz makes
a couple attempts and gives up. He says it doesn't
matter that he can't eat worms because he's still not
afraid of the Boogeyman and covers the plate back.
The cover pops off and the Boogeyman's head comes up
from the worms. Another new paint job. Miz and
Kristal head for higher ground while Boogeyman crawls
out from under the table to stair them down. He's
hungry so he eats some pig tongue and monkey brains as
well before running to the back.

    John Cena vs. Finlay
Not a bad match with Finlay mostly dominating working
the arm over. Little Bastard did make an appearance
to a funny sequence. Finlay tosses him to Cena who
tosses him to JBL. JBL pushes him off and tries to
get the Little Bastard away from him by hitting him
with his hat. Little Bastard goes back and hits JBL a
few times before Finlay tosses him back under the
ring. The end saw Cena hitting signature spots and an
    FU for the win.

    Winner: John Cena

Cena poses for the crowd and Booker hits the ring to
attack him. Booker and Finlay start a beat down on
Cena until Batista runs down to make the save. The
two champions pose for the crowd as we go off the air.

Cena chases Booker to the back while Batista goes
outside after Finlay. Batista throws Finlay in the
ring. Finlay hits a DDT as Batista is getting in the
ring and the referee rings the bell.

    World Heavyweight Championship Match

    Batista(c) vs. Finlay
This match went for a few minutes. Batista hits the
spinebuster on Finlay prompting Little Bastard to hop
up on the ring steps. The referee gets distracted as
Batista goes over to him. Finlay hits Batista in the
leg with the shalleleigh(sp?), but Batista quickly
recovers to hit a Batista Bomb for the pinfall.

Winner and still World Heavyweight Champion: Batista

I did not know this was a title match until Tony
Chimel announced that Batista was still the champ.
Batista poses for the crowd as Finlay is being helped
up by the ref. Little Bastard throws a chair into the
ring and jumps JBL. JBL chases him to the back
hitting him with his hat. Finlay walks to the back
and Batista is the only wrestler left out there. He
poses some more and slaps a few hands. He raises his
arms for the crowd to make some noise does his
entrance with the pyro. If you've never attended a
live event before and think you'll see this intro
clearly, don't get your hopes up. You'll probably be
squinting your eyes more than anything.

Not a bad show. Crowd was hot for most of the show.
