TNA News: Moving PPVs out of Orlando, iMPACT tapings, Kurt Angle, Turning Point Submitted by Jason Brown on Tuesday, December 12, 2006 at 9:35 AM EST
TNA taped the next several weeks of iMPACT last night in Orlando, Florida. They will now begin promoting their January 14th, Final Resolution pay-per-view.
Kurt Angle’s wife and his manager Dave Hawk were both in attendance at Sunday’s Turning Point pay-per-view.
Speaking of Angle he will be appearing on the SpikeTV Video Game Awards tomorrow evening.
With the current Major League Baseball angle that took place at Turning Point, TNA is now considering alternate pay-per-view locations. They are currently looking at possibly holding pay-per-views in St. Louis, Pittsburgh, and Chicago next year. Executives feel that they need to get their product on the road and out of Orlando.
This past Sunday, there was not an 11 p.m. replay of TNA Turning Point on Time Warner, Cox, and Comcast cable systems. DirectTV and The Dish Network were the only carriers who aired the dual showing.
