- The “comedian” who played a mocked version of “Kramer” on RAW last night during Cryme Tyme’s vignette was Nick Berk. Berk is a Northeastern independent wrestling star and was formally the CZW champion. He has appeared with various other indy promotions including Pro Wrestling Unplugged and Jersey All Pro Wrestling. WWE has been using him on a regular basis in enhancement and extra roles.
- International news markets including Austria, Great Britain, South Africa and Canada have picked up on WWE Hall of Famer Roddy Piper’s recent announcement of being diagnosed with lymphoma cancer. All the major newspapers throughout Canada (where Piper was born) is said to be running stories on this announcement.
- This weekend, South Carolina’s The Aiken Standard published an article looking at ECW World Champion Big Show coming home to compete at ECW’s December to Dismember pay-per-view in Augusta, Georgia this Sunday. Augusta is a short distance from the champ’s town he grew up in. Big Show commented by saying, "It's going to be awesome. It's really an overwhelming feeling of pride. I'm a 'bad guy' now, so I can't really vocalize how much this means to me to represent and put on the best show that we absolutely can for our fans. But I'm really hoping that all my friends from Aiken will come over here and check it out – come out and boo me."
