The Highlanders vs Lance Cade and Trevor Murdoch
Before the Highlanders can climb into the ring, the awaiting Cade and Murdoch attack them in the corner and go straight to work with clubbing forearms and right hands. Cade tosses Robbie out of the ring and then goes to help Murdoch work on Rory. They whip him to the ropes and take him down with a double-team back body drop. Cade then heads to his corner while Murdoch sends Rory to the ropes once more, but Rory ducked the clothesline attempt, causing Murdoch to step right into a headbutt from Robbie. Rory then followed up with a dropkick that put Murdoch down on the mat, and then one more for a charging Lance Cade. Robbie then came off the top rope with a double-axhandle on Cade, while Rory took Murdoch down with a flapjack to get a two-count.
Rory then runs the ropes to hit another move on Murdoch, but he runs right into a knee to the back from Cade on the apron. While Robbie protests with the referee, Cade and Murdoch double-team Rory with a reverse atomic drop/big boot combo. Cade tags in legally after that and helps Murdoch send Rory crashing backwards into their corner. After a few punches and kicks, he tags out to Murdoch, who hammers away on Rory some more. Murdoch gets Robbie to try and get in the ring, so while the ref is distracted again the cowboys continue to batter on Rory. Cade tags in again and after they put Rory down on the mat, Cade lifts up Murdoch and drops him on Rory so as to deliver a leg drop. Cade goes for the cover, but only gets two for his trouble.
Time for the rest hold. Rory soon fights out of it and out of his opponents' corner too, but Cade clotheslines him down before he can get to his corner. Murdoch tags in and goes for the pin, but only gets a two. Murdoch then delivers a body slam and an elbow off the second rope, but when he goes for a second elbow off the ropes Rory connects with a boot to his jaw. Murdoch falls to the mat while Robbie gets the hot tag in. Cade tags in too, but he and Murdoch are met with a flurry of strikes and running shoulder thrusts in the corners on both opponents. Cade blocks a charge though with an elbow, which staggers Robbie. Cade and Murdoch then go for their finisher, but Rory drags Murdoch out of the ring while Robbie rolls up Cade and gets the surprise pin.
Winners: The Highlanders
Match #2: Super Crazy vs Shelton Benjamin
The two lock up and Shelton quickly shoves Crazy down to the mat and gloats. Another lock up and Shelton picks Crazy up with a double-leg and then heaves him over with a back body drop. A third lock up and this time Shelton delivers a knee and starts hammering away on Crazy. He then goes for a powerbomb, but Crazy counters it into a hurricanrana and follows up with a spinning back heel kick. Crazy goes for the pin, but Shelton kicks out.
Crazy runs the ropes next and ducks a clothesline to turn into into a crucifix takedown, but Shelton reverses out of that and puts Crazy down with a reverse neckbreaker onto his knee. After driving Crazy's back into the turnbuckles a couple of times, he locks in a sitting abdominal stretch. Crazy fights out of it eventually and hip tosses Shelton. After trading a few punches, Crazy nails Shelton with a springboard dropkick and then another one that sends Shelton retreating to the outside. On the apron, however, Crazy hits one more that sends Shelton crashing to the floor.
With Shelton regrouping on the outside, Crazy goes out to and hits yet another dropkick, this time from the top of the ring steps. Shelton is rolled back into the ring, where Crazy vaults over the top rope and hits a springboard moonsault that gets him another two count. Crazy then starts punching away on Shelton in the corner, which gets an English count from the fans (for shame) until Shelton tries to reverse out of the corner with a T-Bone attempt. Crazy blocks that though, then runs the ropes, ducks a clothesline, botches a springboard, and gets a series of knees to his ribs from Shelton. Shelton then hits the T-Bone, gets up and stalks around the ring for a bit before picking Crazy up and delivering a second T-Bone. Easy cover, easy pin.
Winner: Shelton Benjamin
Match #3: Fred Sampson vs Charlie Haas
The two lock up and Sampson goes for a quick waistlock takedown. Haas regroups and the two lock up again, with Haas arm dragging Sampson down to the mat this time. Haas then gets Sampson in a side-headlock, gets shoved off, then shoulder tackles Sampson to the mat. Haas goes to the ropes, Sampson rolls over for the trip, but Haas scouts it and locks in a front facelock, rolling Sampson across the ring before finally letting go.
Sampson then gets in a side-headlock when they lock up again, Haas shoves him off and goes for a hip toss, but it's blocked and Sampson goes for one of his own. Haas blocks that attempt though, and takes Sampson down with a fireman's carry. He then goes to shove the hometown kid, but Sampson ducks under and school boys Haas up for a quick two-count. Haas gets up fast and goes for a punch, but it's ducked and he receives a punch for his troubles.
Haas stalls in the corner, as Sampson awaits him. When Sampson makes his move, Haas hits him with a poke to the eyes and then a belly-to-belly. After stomping on him for a bit, Haas delivers a stiff right hand to the jaw. Sampson tries to fight back, but Haas cuts off his momentum and takes him down with a butterfly suplex that's good for two. A body slam and running knee drop earn Haas another two count.
Short rest hold that Sampson fights out of with a back suplex. Sampson starts to rally back with some punches until Haas puts him down with a belly-to-back suplex. He then nails him with a running boot to the face, then measures Sampson up for the Haas of Pain that gets him the tap-out.
Winner: Charlie Haas
Heat Main Event: “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan vs. Rob Conway
After a lock up and vying for position, Rob hits a punch to the gut while he has Hacksaw on the ropes. After a few more punches, Hacksaw fights back with a few punches of his own that send Conway retreating to the floor. Once back in the ring, Hacksaw invites him to take a free swing. When Conway finally goes for it, Hacksaw blocks it and delivers a series of punches himself, finishing it off with a big haymaker that sends Conway back out of the ring.
Back in the ring, Duggan whips him to the ropes, but gets a kick to the face when he goes for the back body drop. Conway chokes him on the ropes and delivers more punches while he has the big man down. A whip to the ropes and Conway connects with a back elbow, but it's only good for a two-count when he makes the cover.
Rest hold time with a chinlock. The ref lifts the arm twice and Duggan's arm falls, but on the third try Duggan gives the big thumbs up and fights back. Conway stops his momentum before it can start though with a knee lift and punches. Duggan starts throwing blind punches, but Conway hits some more elbows.
Duggan starts to come back with though with some strikes of his own until Conway takes him down again with another chinlock. When Conway tries to ram Duggan's head into the turnbuckles, it's blocked and Conway is sent head first into the pads and then gets a series of mounted punches, as the crowd counts them off. Conway tries to cut him off once more, but when he comes off the ropes for an elbow, Hacksaw moves, then finishes off Conway with his charging clothesline for the pin.
Winner: “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan
