This week’s edition of ECW on Sci-Fi did a 1.8 cable rating with a 3.0 share. This is the show’s best number in about two months, giving WWE more hope for the new brand. The show did quarter hours of 1.7, 1.9, 1.9, 1.6, and 1.8. This is up 20% from last week.
SmackDown’s Ken Kennedy will be appearing at Chickie & Pete’s in South Philadelphia this Saturday from 2 - 4 p.m. EST.
The Stamford Advocate added a story yesterday talking about WWE Superstars going to Iraq this Christmas. SmackDown color commentator JBL commented at a press conference "These guys are huge fans of what the WWE does, but they are not as big fans of us as we are of them." WWE will air a special dedicated to the troops on Christmas day from 9 – 11 p.m. EST on the USA Network.
