Eric Bischoff is now scheduled to be a part-time TV performer, only being brought in whenever they need him.
From WWE.com: Following “Rowdy” Roddy Piper’s hospitalization on Friday, WWE.com contacted sources close to the WWE Hall of Famer to get an update on his condition. WWE.com was told that the former Intercontinental and World Tag Team Champion was resting comfortably in his home state of Oregon.
WWE’s next European tour is scheduled to take place from 4/14 to 4/24. Both Raw and Smackdown will be taped on 4/16 & 4/17 in Milan, Italy then again on 4/23 & 4/24 in London, England.
Rey Mysterio’s contract with WWE expires around May or June of 2007, which is right around the time he would be returning to the ring. It wouldn’t be surprising to anyone backstage at this point if Kurt Angle tried to get Mysterio to join him in TNA.
