Jim Ross has added a blog entry on his official website talking about him and Steve Austin spending a few days together in Norman, Oklahoma last week. J.R. talks about how he and Austin witnessed the Oklahoma Sooners big 12 win over Texas Tech on Saturday night. He also talks about them going over to former OU and Dallas Cowboy’s Head Coach Barry Switzer’s house for a few cold beers. You can check the full entry and this link.
The voice of RAW also addressed the TNA house show cancellation in East Hartford, CT last Saturday night. J.R. said the following:
I have read of the furor of the TNA cancellation in Connecticut but have no info on the matter. I did read where the city had issues because required paperwork was not signed. I would virtually guarantee you no upper level executive at the WWE was even aware of the event especially the Chairman. To assume the WWE had anything to do with this matter is Oliver Stone conspiracy theory stuff. It does make for good gossip and it got us talking.
