TNA News: Upcoming video game, Jeff Jarrett/face turn, Nash, more

  • TNA talent and crew were scheduled to have the day off Monday, but they ended up doing a lot more work than expected. When the talent arrived backstage in Orlando, Spike TV had a crew filming interviews and footage for their November 16th primetime debut (which may also contain a new opening).

  • Midway Games was in Orlando on Monday working on the debut of TNA’s upcoming video game. Technicians were scanning talent’s faces in order to incorporate their characters into the game. They then filmed a lot of crowd footage from Tuesday’s tapings to specifically place the iMPACT Zone’s crowd noise and chants in the game’s audio. A lot of wrestlers were shown previews of AJ Styles’ video game renderings and were blown away by the amount of detail (his scar he suffered against Samoa Joe was visible).

  • Crews were on another sound stage on Tuesday working on a “High Definition” project, which we don’t have many details on.

  • Jeff Jarrett’s interview that is scheduled to air on tonight’s iMPACT wasn’t shown during Tuesday’s tapings. It was said to be a very serious interview to continue his babyface turn. Expect to see Jarrett discuss a lot of his family problems he has went though over the last year.

  • A lot of Kevin Nash-Austin Starr-Alex Shelley vignettes were taped backstage. They didn’t wrestle, but the storyline that started at Bound for Glory is expected to continue over the next few weeks.
