TNA News: Scott D’Amore speaks on why TNA is better than WWE, PPV stream, more Submitted by Jason Brown on Monday, October 16, 2006 at 10:34 AM EST
TNA is working on a new deal with Mediazone.com to allow them to stream their pay-per-view events online for international audiences. If a new deal is not reached before the weekend, Bound for Glory will not be streamed.
TNA Knockout Christy Hemme was featured in an article in The Windsor Star this weekend. The article made note of her training at Scott D’Amore’s school in Canada to improve her in-ring skills. Scott made a quote in the article comparing TNA to WWE by saying "Our roster is a lot younger, a lot more athletic. We have true athletes. That's why Kurt Angle is such a perfect fit. WWE hires performers based on looks. We hire based on athleticism." He then noted TNA is no longer fighting for its life, but is now planning for a long future.
The following lineup has been confirmed for Friday’s TNA house show in Toledo, Ohio:
- Rhino vs. Abyss under "Extreme Rules Monsters Ball"
- NWA Tag Team champions AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels vs. America's Most Wanted
