WWE News: Explanation why lights went out last night at RAW, Fans upset with Cena

  • Mike Ousley, an employee for the Ford Center in Oklahoma City, explained why the lights went out at last night’s RAW. According to Mike, the opening pyro was a lot hotter than expected; therefore activating the heat sensors, shutting the power off. This is a precaution within the building’s fire suppression system (to shut the power off when extreme heat is detected). The reason WWE’s production trucks were not affected is because they were operating on a different power source.

  • WWE.com has added an article today talking about John Cena’s visit to Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma City yesterday. The special appearance was to sign autographs and interact with fans. The article states that Cena “did not leave until he had signed autographs for everyone.” According to Joe Searfoss, a fan in attendance this was not the case. According to Joe, Cena showed up 20 minutes late, but left at his regularly scheduled time. He also claims that security cut off the line at 11:50 and made the fans that did not get in leave.
