WWE News: Changes in store for the ECW brand

    WrestlingObserver.com reports that some changes are in store for WWE's ECW brand.

    Beginning next month, WWE will greatly streamline its ECW taping schedule. It will no longer book ECW-only television tapings, and a number of shows—obviously, but not limited to, those airing during Supershow weeks—will be taped.

    It remains unclear if a motivation for the revised taping plans is the value of the rights fee WWE will collect under a new contract with Sci-Fi.
