WWE has signed two Ohio Valley Wrestling performers to official developmental deals, reports PWInsider.com.
Charles "The Hammer" Evans and Boris Alexiev were the latest names to receive contracts with WWE, and if rumors are true, several more names from OVW and Deep South Wrestling will get the same treatment.
Evans had strong support from officials in pursuit of his official developmental contract—Ricky Steamboat, Mike Bucci and Danny Davis all pushed for his signing.
WWE is looking to issue several more developmental contracts, all of which will likely be delivered to wrestlers currently in OVW or DSW. WWE reportedly has no present interest in any outside talent.
