ECW is LIVE from a sold out Hammerstein Ballroom in NYC and tonight for the ECW World Title it's Big Show vs. Batista. Also tonight is Tommy Dreamer & Sandman taking on Test & Mike Knox with Extreme Rules!

Sandman makes his way through the crowd as clips are shown of his recent histroy with Mike Knox. Once he's in, Tommy Dreamer comes down and clips are shown of his kiss with Paul Heyman and his altercations with Test. Match gets underway and they brawl all around the ring for a few minutes. Dreamer & Sandman go under the ring and pull out the garbage cans and metal signs and the crowd chants "We want tables". Dreamer & Sandman go back out under a different side and pull out the barb-wired wall and the crowd goes nuts with ECW chants. Sandman grabs his cane and goes around to nail Mike Knox but Kelly Kelly steps in front of him and begs Sandman not to hit him (or her). Sandman throws Kelly into the ring and begins caning Mike Knox all the way to the back. Tommy Dreamer comes up behind Kelly telling her she can trust him. He starts dancing in the ring with her before he turns her over his knee and starts spanking her. Paul Heyman's guards run out and begin assualting Dreamer. The crowd starts chanting "You sold out" to Paul Heyman and then as if it were music to his ears, he then instructs the guards to throw Dreamer through the barb-wired wall in the ring. Heyman and the guards leave and then Test comes back in the ring and picks up Test and throws him through the wall again. Test picks Dreamer up and nails his spinning neckbreaker. Test pins Tommy Dreamer @ 7:40.

Promo shown for this Monday's Monday Night Raw as it's Umaga taking on Triple H!

Commercial is shown for Hulk Hogan returning to the ring to take on the "Legend Killer" Randy Orton at SummerSlam!

Back LIVE from a 100+ degree NYC and Paul Heyman is walking through the catering area in the back and all the ECW "Extremists" look at him in shame and turn their head from him. He then comes across Sabu who tells him that he wants a championship shot against Big Show. Paul Heyman reiterates that he will NEVER give Sabu that shot and asks that he leave the building or be escorted out.

Coming up tonight for the ECW World Title it's the Big Show vs. Batista.

CM Punk is in the back talking about his discipline and his passion and tonight it's time to show it off. He debuts next!

Back LIVE and Justin Credible is in the ring and his opponent CM Punk comes down to a nice pop from the crowd. Nice in-ring work from both athletes; CM Punk used alot of martial arts moves. He performed a "Yuronagi" (?) into a chinlock/armbar slam into a submission hold and CM Punk defeats Justin Credible by submission @ 4:11.

Clips are shown of Batista and his battles because tonight it's Big Show taking on Batista for the ECW World Title!

Back from the break and "The Reject" Shannon Moore is coming soon to ECW!

Brooklyn Brawler is in the ring talking about he's too extreme for RAW and too hardcore for Smackdown! He belongs in ECW and he promises to become the new ECW World Champion. Kurt Angle's music hits and he makes his way to the ring for his return match to ECW. Kurt Angle pretty much bullies the Brooklyn Brawler throughout the match. Kurt Angle defeats Brooklyn Brawler by submission @ 1:08. Crowd chanted "Welcome back" to Kurt Angle.

Clips are shown of Big Show's path of destruction because his World Title match is next!

Back from the break and Big Show comes down to the ring to heavy boos and chants of "RVD". Batista comes down to just as many boos. The crowd hates both these guys! During the match, the crowd was chanting "You both suck" and "Same old shit" and constantly were booing both men. The crowd seemed more entertained with themselves and their riot-like behavior. Batista defeats Big Show by disqualification @ 9:23 when Big Show purposely hit Batista in the head with the World Title belt. After the match, Sabu ran down and nailed Big Show with a chair. He jumped off the rop and landed an Arabian Face Buster across the Big Show. Sabu climbed the ropes and dropkicked a chair into Big Show's face while he was standing on the apron and fell through the ringside timekeeper's table.

*All in all, it was a much better show than recently. CM Punk had a nice debut and the crowd seemed really into him. Kurt Angle being back doesn't hurt either. I'm hoping they find a better opponent for Big Show than a RAW or Smackdown Superstar. Boring main event but was kept interested by the crowd's dislike for both men and watching Big Show and Batista's reactions.*
