TNA News: News on Samoa Joe's growing backstage frustration

Samoa Joe's recent backstage argument with Scott D'Amore, while technically about the finish to his match with Rhino, was partially fueled by Joe's frustration with his status in TNA.

Joe, who lacks the political allies other top TNA wrestlers possess, is upset that he's rarely considered a priority in top matches. The wrestler actually refers to himself as the "undefeated wrestler who never wins big matches."

A specific instance that frustrated Joe was TNA's decision to book him in an Ultimate X match several months ago. Joe, who has become one of TNA's most popular performers, was made to look like an overweight wrestler out of his element, as opposed to a true X Division star.

And, in the recent four-way PPV match, Joe felt he was lowest on the totem pole and protected less than any of his opponents.

Nonetheless, some do question the wrestler's method of speaking out on backstage topics, even though his frustration is often warranted.

"He shouldn't have said what he said," said one wrestler about his argument with D'Amore. "He was right in what he said, but wrong in how he said it."
