While a number of WWE officials want the company to target Summerslam as a tentative ending point for the DeGeneration X run, Stephanie McMahon is reportedly pushing to continue the group through the fall.
It remains to be seen how it will play out, but it most likely won't last too far into the long-term, as HBK does intend to leave for surgery in the near future.
WWE brought the DeGeneration X faction back in order to help HHH turn face while also attempting to boost RAW ratings for the summer. Due to Shawn Michaels' push to limit involvement in sexual content, the team's antics have been greatly toned down this time around.
