First off, the question that everybody is asking: Why did you drop out of WWE’s Diva Search?
I had some personal issues, nothing to due with them (WWE). There was a chance I could win but if I did, I would not be able to travel for them the way they wanted me to.
You’ve had a week or so to contemplate your decision. Any regrets?
I had less then a week with the issue that came up….and it was a holiday. I never regret anything. I think about the pros and cons and make a logical decision…besides, regardless of what I had going on the runner up deserved to get in as soon as she could to get her face out there.
What originally made you apply to enter the competition?
I took a break from Playboy and two people wanted me to try out… so the timing was right with my travels and the WWE has wanted me to audition for some time.
And was your goal originally to get to the finals?
Yes….I flew out there so I was serious.
Any prior to reaching the televised stages were there any thoughts of you wanting to drop out?
No, I knew I would win.
Obviously you’ve spent time with some of the WWE wrestlers and staff. What were your initial impressions of the company?
I thought they were really sweet. There were a lot of women too. They seem like a very profesional company to work for.
Was it what you expected?
Yes I have worked in the biz for years…I know they are professional which is probably why they have been around forever.
Was there anybody in particular who helped you?
Me myself and I (laughs). I didn’t really need any help I’m a grown woman. Jane, who works in casting, was sweet. She is someone I will remain close to.
On the flipside, anybody who made you feel less than comfortable?
No. It was all in good fun!
How about your fellow finalists. Did you get along with them all?
I get along with everyone. I’ve worked with women for years.
With WWE out of the question now, what are you planning to do next?
I am taking time to move to D.C. My boyfriend plays for the Redskins. Also I’ll live in New York for part of the season to start working on my spa with my partner. We plan on opening up in Arizona next summer. Plus I still model; my phone still rings off the hook. I also want to get my pilot’s license.
Any desire to get into wrestling at all with any other company?
Who knows, never say never; if the timing is right in my life. I’m still such a tomboy.
Finally, who will be the 2006 Diva Search winner?
I hope Layla wins. She and I did an interview together there (during the Diva Search casting). She kept to herself but when we spoke she is a sweet girl we clicked on many levels.
