Promo: Christian Cage
- I just realized I'm REALLY tired.
- Cage doesn't want to wait until the "company meeting" to address Sting.
- He calls him out.
- Cage tells the Stinger he thinks Jim Cornette will give him back the belt.
- If Sting wants a shot, all he has to do is ask for it to his face.
- Sting rips into Cage, telling him he's cracking under the pressure.
- Sting says he didn't ask Cornette for a title shot, but instead a tag match next week.
- It'll be Sting & Cage versus Jarrett & an unnamed guy who I assume will be Scott Steiner.
- Cage backs down and agrees to help Sting rid TNA of Jarrett.

Promo: Jeff Jarrett & Scott Steiner
- Yes, it'll be Steiner. Awesome.
- Steiner says Ethopians have better muscle tone than Christian.
- Jarrett says Cornette's powerless to stop him from getting the belt because he's smart.
- Steiner closes by asking if Samoa Joe learned his lesson.
- God, I hope not.
Match: Team Canada (Petey Williams & Eric Young, w/A1, Bobby Rude & Scott D'Amore) vs. Chris Sabin & Jay Lethal
- Young's comedy spots and Petey's cheating keep Sabin grounded.
- Rude and A1 try to interfere, but Eric stops them.
- He's afraid illegal tactics will give Jim Cornette a reason to fire him.
- Classic yet seldomly used tactic of furthering a storyline WITHIN the context of an actual match? I love it.
- And just when things can get no better... it's mid-match commercial time.

- Back with Young stopping Petey from using the "Oh, Canada" groin stomp.
- Petey's getting pissed off. Tag to Eric Young.
- Young continues to prevent the illegal Canadians from interfering.
- Canadian leg sweep by Petey gets two.
- Lethal appears to be channeling Robert Gibson from the ring apron. :(
- HOT TAG! Dropkicks to everybody. Young Flair flops.
- Bridging DDT gets two on Petey. Very neat.
- Alex Shelley & Johnny Devine, with the camera, rush out and film Team Canada's beatdown on Sabin at ringside.
- D'Amore knocks Lethal off the top rope.
- Canadian Destroyer. Uno. Dos. Tres.

- Douglas whips Andy & Chase into shape. Mercifully short.
Match: "The Alpha Male" Monty Brown vs. Norman Smiley
- Who doesn't love Smiley's wiggle?
- Monty. That's who. Clubbing forearms galore.
- Smiley fires back with punches and European uppercuts.
- 'Cause... he's British. :-/
- Monty's too strong and throws Smiley away.
- The Pounce ends it.
- Thanks for playing, Norm. Enjoy your lovely parting gifts.

No-DQ Match: America's Most Wanted ("Wildcat" Chris Harris & "Cowboy" James Storm, w/Gail Kim) vs. Team 3D (Brother Ray & Brother Devon, w/Brother Runt)
- AMW start at the entrance and get the jump on 3D.
- Fight gets to the ring where Harris gets two after a suplex on Ray.
- Break time already? What more else could I possibly need to buy?

- We're back with 3D "bringin' da' plundah." - Dusty Rhodes
- Ray uses a "crutch to the crotch" on Harris. That's also a direct quote.
- A bleeding Harris drops a leg and gets two on Devon.
- Gail Kim in with a trash can lid... but Ray no-sells it!
- Runt's in with a golf club shot to Gail's trash can lid-covered groin.
- Does that even hurt?
- 3D go for the tables but AMW attack and set it up themselves at ringside.
- Storm has a beer bottle. Harris has a trash can.
- They argue over which weapon to use.
- BOTH, YOU FUCKING IDIOTS! WE CRAVE THE VIOLENCE!
- Team 3D take out Storm, then 3D use 3D to put Harris away.
- What was the table for?
- James Gang music hit and B.G. and Kip are out.
- They say that Team 3D chose a family member (Runt) as their third man, and so have they.
- B.G. tells them they don't know how deep the James' roots run.
- They found the biggest, ugliest, baddest dude in the bloodline... and he's right behind them!
- Team 3D tourn around to face... ABYSS?!
- Swerve.
- Abyss lays Ray and Devon out... but it's Runt to the rescue.
- Abyss chucks Runt off during the Acid Drop and hurls him through the table.
- So that's what the table was for.
- Again... swerve.

Company Meeting
- Cornette's at a podium in the ring with the entire locker room present at ringside.
- Corny opens by telling L.A.X. it's either work or go get another job. No more strike.
- That's not how strikes work, Jimmy.
- Corny disbands Team Canada as well.
- He adds a six-person NWA Tag Team Title match with AMW & Gail Kim against Styles, Daniels and the unnamed HUUUGE bitch.
- He calls Earl Hebner, Larry Zbyszko & Jeff Jarrett into the ring.
- Scott Steiner joins them, despite not being invited.
- Corny minces no words in canning Earl Hebner for being a biased official.
- It took WWE 20 years to do that.
- Eric Young is psyched.
- Attention turns to Zbyszko who apparently has a special contract Corny can't release him from.
- He can, however, get away with Zbyszko quitting.
- In an attempt to force Larry to quit, he books a hair vs. hair match for Victory Road with... Raven!
- Zbyszko storms off, adding he won't quit... yet.
- Corny says he won't just give a title to somebody... such as a son-in-law. Oooooh.
- Jarrett technically won the KOTM match at Slammiversary, but Cornette's not about to just hand the belt over without sticking it to Jarrett.
- He books a four-way match to crown a new contender at Victory Road.
- It'll be former champion Christian Cage, Sting, "Big Poppa Pump" Scott Steiner and, of course...
- SAMOA JOE?!
- Jarrett is pissed!
- He demands to start the tag match slated next week now.
- Cage comes down through the throngs of TNA workers while Sting sneaks in from behind.
- They get the jump on the heels and it's not long before Samoa Joe joins the fray.
- Fade to black as Joe locks in the rear naked choke on Steiner.

Try to check out the replay if you can. What it lacked in actual action, it more than made up for with unpredictable storyline implication. Of course, if you've read down this far, they wouldn't be so unpredictable, would they? Forget I said anything.
