WWE News: Michelle McCool, Chris Benoit, Great Khali

• Michelle McCool is currently a backstage interviewer in Ohio Valley Wrestling. She's lost weight from apparent dieting since she was last seen in WWE. On a recent show, she interviewed Deuce & Domino with Cherry. Deuce made fun of her recent claim to have not had a boob job and it was just a new bra, saying she must have gotten a bra that took her from a 32 B to a 38 DDD. She said she had no respect for Deuce because he just stood there when Domino beat up his father, and a wrestling legend, Jimmy Snuka, the previous week. Cherry then slapped McCool. This was the storyline for McCool managing Amish Roadkill & Kasey James, the OVW tag champs, as they defended against Deuce & Domino.
  
  The other angle they are trying to push, apparently for when they are brought to Smackdown (current plan), is that McCool has the hots for Amish Roadkill.
  
  
• Chris Benoit will be taking an extended time off to let his body heal. "He's been sore for a long time, and it's probably best for him to get proper rest and away from the grind of the road," says one colleague. "For the good of Chris and really, in the big picture, the company, he needs time off."
  
  
• The Great Khali has a 50/50 chance at being pushed as a legitimate, long-term main eventer on Smackdown. However, It will all depend on his progress in the ring. One bad match or one very poor crowd response similar to a St. Louis crowd chanting "Pirates suck" during a match involving Paul Burchill could change WWE's booking plans.
