The Thursday edition of The Hollywood Reporter features an article confirming ECW's Tuesday night deal with Sci-Fi.
According to the story, the show will debut on June 13 at 10PM EST.
The Wrestling Observer, however, reports that the hourlong program will actually air Tuesdays at 9PM EST. The plan, according to that source, is to film the ECW show live after the 7PM SmackDown! tapings when on the East coast and prior to the 7PM SmackDown! tapings on the West.
USA and Sci-Fi president Bonnie Hammer was quoted in the Reporter article as saying that fifty percent of WWE RAW viewers also watch Sci-Fi programming. She believes ECW fits into the network's "stretching the imagination" theme.
WWE Chairman Vince McMahon said, "ECW on Sci Fi will push the boundaries of sports entertainment in new and unexpected ways."
