WWE Smackdown house show results from Tulsa, Oklahoma - 3/25/06

  Just got back from the WWE House show tonight in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Pretty decent show aside from some sloppy spots. I had never been to a WWE house show so I was kindof disapointed with the lack of pyro and titantron. Almost a sold out show with a couple empty seats here and there. Here are the results:
  
  Match 1: Booker T vs Boogeyman
  
  Sharmell came out first and introduced her husband. Booker T came out and said he's not afraid of the Boogeyman. Boogey's music hits and he appears behind Booker in the ring. Short match with Booker and his wife running to the back when Boogeyman ate worms.
  
  Match 2: Matt Hardy vs Animal
  
  Hardy almost missed a couple moves, but got the crowd back behind him with some high flying offense. Standard match with Animal cheating to win.
  
  Mr. Kennedy comes out and starts running down Oklahoma. He says he has a special guest for us and out comes Dr. Death Steve Williams. They jaw jack for a while then Dr.! Death hits his 20 year old offense to send Kennedy packing.
  
  Match 3: MNM vs Kendrick and London for Tag Team Belts
  
  Took awhile for the match to get going but once it did it was lightening fast. I got a nice shot of Melina's splits by the way. Kendrick and London hit some nice tandem moves and came very close to a 3 count but MNM managed to hit Kendrick with their finisher for the win.
  
  At this point WWE Diva Kristal came out and shot T shirts to the crowd until Orlando Jordan came out and slapped her on the ass. This prompted Bobby Lashley to come out and we have a match.
  
  Match 4: Orlando Jordan vs Bobby Lashley
  
  Good match with Lashley hitting some sweet suplexes. He really looks juiced in person. Lashley wins with the dominator.
  
  Match 5: Undertaker vs Mark Henry in a Tulsa Street Fight.
  
  Undertaker's pop was amazing. I noticed he came out in just his wrestling tights, no coat or hat. Started out with some go! od shots from Taker, slowed down alot when Mark Henry locked on a couple bear hugs. At one point the fight spilled to the outside and Henry hit Undertaker with a cookie sheet and threw him into the rail. Undertaker wins after a chokeslam and then a vicious chair shot.
  
  Intermission for about 10 minutes.
  
  Match 6: Chris Benoit vs JBL for US Belt.
  
  Best match of the night. Lots of Eddie chants for Benoit. JBL even got on the mic and said the people knew Eddie wasn't in his league and he beat him for the WWE championship. Benoit went after the taped up hand of JBL. Benoit wins via crippler crossface. After the match Benoit said he made JBL tap and at Wrestlemania he'll beat his ass again.
  
  Match 7: Rey Mysterio vs Finley
  
  Finley took forever to get in the ring. Mysterio was over big time. Okay match I guess with Mysterio winning after a 619, then a slingshot body splash. Mysterio seemed really cool by signing some autographs and greeting ! many fans after the match.
  
  Match 8: Kurt Angle vs Randy Orton for the World Title.
  
  Ricky 'The Dragon' Steamboat was the special ref for the match. Crowd was very hot for this match. Funny moment during the match when Orton threw his hand up to a talking fan and made him flinch. Orton even laughed. Steamboat got hit towards the end and another ref ran out and saw a low blow by Orton and rang the bell, disqualifying Orton. Kurt Angle then hit Orton with the Angle Slam then locked on the ankle lock until Orton tapped. I think The Dragon even got in some shots on Randy too. After the match Angle got on the mic and said at Wrestlemania he might not win the match but he will put on the match of his career.
