WWE announced on Monday's RAW that "Mean" Gene Okerlund will be inducted into its Hall Of Fame as part of the Class of 2006.

Okerlund originally requested that Bobby Heenan perform his induction speech, but since Heenan is already tentatively slated to induct The Blackjacks (their induction has not been formally announced), WWE instead gave the induction duties to Hulk Hogan.

Bret "Hit Man" Hart and Eddie Guerrero had previously been confirmed for this year's induction. While not announced on television, Tony Atlas (with S.D. Jones as the inductor) is also reportedly a definite for the Class of 2006.

The Hall Of Fame Ceremony will take place on Saturday, April 1.
