-- As of last week, WWE had not modified its decision to have Randy Orton win the title shot from Rey Mysterio tonight. There has been an internal push to keep Mysterio in the WM22 main-event since he is consistently a top ratings draw for SmackDown, but no change to the original plan has yet been confirmed.
-- Booker T is scheduled to begin a program with The Boogeyman following the end of his feud with Chris Benoit.
-- There is a degree of internal optimism about tonight's show as almost every match on the card has the potential to turn out very well.
