Raw & Snickers present The Road To Wrestlemaina Tour
    Nassau Veterans Memorial Colliseum
    Long Island, New York
    Febuary 18, 2006

Ok, I'm going on what I remember here. Bare with me.

I got in the arena a little late because of the long line of cars outside.

    Match 1: RVD vs. Carlito

-Don't have much input because I only saw the last two mintutes of the match. RVD pins Carlito after hitting the 5 Star Frog Splash. Damn, Carlito's 'fro is ridiculous.

Match 2: The Spirit Squad [Ken Doane & Mike Mondo I think] vs. Val Venis & Viscera

-Spirit Squad talked first, getting some heat by dissing the Islanders. The Spirt Squad's antics on the outside of the ring were hilarious [An example was when Val was getting the crowd to cheer to decide where to throw his
towel, The Spirit Squad would jump around on whatever side of the ring Val was pointing too].

-Match included all the known spots, including Viscera doing the Walrus Hump. The Spirit Squad win after one of them hit Viscera with a cone thing [they were using it to shout into]. This allowed the roll-up to follow.

Match 3: ? vs. Tyson Tomko

-Tomko lost, but that's all I remember.

Match 4: [Ashley came out as a guest ring announcer] Trish Stratus & Mickie James vs. Victoria & Candice Michelle

-Some good action from the ladies tonight.

-Finish came when Ashey distracted Victoria [who was tring to cheat by using the Women's Title Belt]. This allowed Trish to get the roll-up.

-Following the match Ashley announced the winner TRISH
STRATUS!!!......and Mickie James. Needless to say Mickie attacked Ashley for this. Trish pulled Mickie off. Then Mickie left looking pissed while the crowd chanted, "She's a Phyco!"

Match 5: Eugene vs. “The Masterpiece” Chris Masters
-Before the match, Eugene stole the robe Masters came out to the ring in, and ran around with it. He even did the pose the Masters does while on the ramp during his entrance.

-Various comic spots from Eugene, incluing the Airplane Spin [which looks even worse in real life than on TV] and biting Chris's ass. Masters wins via the Masterlock.

    Segment:
-Matt Striker came out. Talked for a bit to get some cheap heat by insulting Long Island and the Islanders.

-Tazz then came out. He tried to make his 'big announcement' but Striker kept interupting him. This eventualy led to Tazz using the Tazmission on Striker.

-Tazz called out Paul Heyman to help him with his announcement. This was that tickets to ECW One Night Stand 2 at Hammerstein Ballroom on June 11 go on sale April 15 at 10 am.

-When Striker was leaving the crowd chanted something like, "Go back to school!"

    ------Intermission------

    Match 6: Kane vs. Snitsky

-Kane came out with no pyro. :(

-Quick squash match that saw Kane win via the Chokeslam [which Snitsky had got out of two previous times].

Match 7: Shelton Benjamin & Triple H vs. HBK, Shawn Michaels & Ric Flair

-NOTE: This was supposed to be three seprate matches [HBK vs. Chris Masters, Shelton Benjamin vs. Ric Flair, & Triple H vs. Big Show] but Big Show had a 'personal issue' to attend to. This led to this tag match.

-Big pops for all four men while they entered. Shelton's Momma was a no-show though. :(

-Good long match, maybe 18 minutes. Match of the night.

-Mid-way through, Triple H had his tights pulled down by HBK so that his ass was showing. He wrestled like that for like 3 minutes before pulling them back up. He had a thong on underneath the tights to protect the 'front' from showing, just in case.

-Finish came when Flair attempted to put the Figure Four on Benjamin, but Triple H came to the rescue with a Pedigree on Flair. Only before Triple H could connect with the Pedigree, HBK entered and hit Trips with some Sweet Chin Music. Ric Flair then locked in the Figure Four, making Benjamin tap.

-After HBK & Flair left, Triple H was arguing with Benjamin about him tapping out. Benjamin then did the D-X Crotch-Chop to Triple H. Triple H then hit the Pedigree on Benjamin. As he was leaving, he said over the mic, "Somebody better call his Momma".

-Once Benjamin was up, he got on the mic and said, "I'm telling my Momma!"

Match 8: WWE CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH, John Cena vs. Edge with Special Referee Mick Foley

-Foley came out first and said that Thursday night he was distracted by Lita's boobs, therefore he banned her from ringside. He then told his son who was at ringside not to tell mommy what he said about Lita's boobs. Foley also said that there were only two reasons that he was there tonight. One was that he had the stamina of 100 men. The other was that he only lived a few minutes away. He said he would call the match right down the middle, but would get 'physically involved' if nessacary.

-Edge came out and talked trash. Including calling the arena the Nassau Mosileum.

-Cena came out to a HUGE pop. I mean the WHOLE arena was chreeing.

-Match was good. 25 minutes. The wole crowd was chanting "Let's go Cena!" the wole time. I tried my best to fight back with a few "Edge Sucks" or "Fuck You Edge" or "Let's go Edge!" cheers, but one against 10,000 isn't good odds.

    -Cena did 4 different moves, I counted. [A DDT, a Suplex, the Side-Suplex, and the F-U. I didn't count the 5-Knuckle-Shuffle because that's just a flashy punch]

-Midway through the action spilled into the crowd. Foley would try to count-out Edge fast, but Cena really slow. So much for 'right down the middle'. ;)

-Finish came when Cena hit the F-U on Edge [Who had speared Foley twice and a new Ref once after only getting a two-count from them.]

-Cena and Foley celebrated for a while and then left.

All in all it was a really good show, even though half the crowd seemed to be kids based on the cheers. 8.5/10

    BIGGEST POPS:
    4. Flair
    3. HBK
    2. Triple H
    1. Cena

Report sent in by Chris Colom

Went to the show last night at Nassau Coliseum and had
a great time. Show was almost definitively a sellout,
with A LOT of kids in attendance. It was announced
that the Big Show would not be there as advertised,
    which was met with boos.

RVD vs. Carlito - Smart choice for the opener as RVD's
music hitting got the crowd in a frenzy. Carlito with
some scattered cheers, but big time boo's too. Solid
match, that saw Carlito go for the apple, only to get
kicked in the face, and RVD hits a bit of a sloppy
5-star frog splash for the win. RVD is great with the
fans, high fiving pretty much every fan in the front
    row after the match.

Goldust Vs. Tyson Tomko - this was advertised as Chavo
vs. Tomko, but instead we get Goldust. (yippee) Mild
cheering for Goldust, but nothing special. Match is
met with some boring chants. Not even boos for Tomko,
really nobody cared. Goldust wins with the Curtain
    Call.

Spirit Squad Vs. Val Venis and Viscera - I can't
believe I'm saying this, but the Spirit Squad was
freaking hilarious, and these guys are heat machines.
Decent pop for Val and big Vis. Funny moment when Val
is going to throw his towel into the crowd, the Spirit
Squad would run around the ring to the side he wanted
to throw it to and jump up and down like they wanted
it. Crowd was simultaneously booing and cracking up.
Ok match, Val carried the load for his team, while
Doane and Jeter both look decent in the ring. Hot tag
to Vis, who rips off Doanes shirt and slaps him hard
in the chest to a good pop. Val tags in and goes up
top for the Money Shot after the obligatory Viscera
dry hump, but is hit the megaphone while ref is
    distracted. Spirit Squad wins.

Chris Masters Vs. Eugene - Guess they had to call an
audible here as HBK was supposed to meet Masters.
Surprisingly a bunch of scattered cheers for the
Masterpiece. (Including my sister who is absolutley
in love with him) Eugene got a decent pop from the
kids, and got big laughs for doing his routine with
Masters' robe. Short match, Eugene gets in the
airplane spin and tries for the Masterlock, but is
reversed and goes down quickly to the real thing.

Victoria and Candice Michelle Vs. Trish and Mickie
James - Ashley was the guest ring announcer for this
match and got a big Long Island hometown pop coming
out. Fairly muted reaction for the women's entrances,
until Trish blew the roof off the place, I couldn't
believe how big her pop was. Formula women's match,
Trish, Mickie, and Victoria all hit some nice moves
while Candice...um..grabbed her wand once I think.
Trish wins with the Chick Kick. While celebrating
with Ashley after the match, Mickie goes crazy and
tries to tear into Ashley. Trish tells her to back
off, Mickie leaves in a rage while the crowd chants
    "She's a psycho."

Matt Striker came out next. Seems like not many
people knew who he was, but he still got MAJOR heat
for ripping on the intelligence of people from Long
Island, and ripped into Tazz and ECW. Tazz enters to
a decent pop. My friend and I got a weak ECW chant
going, but again, a lot of kids tonight so I guess
that was why this whole segment didn't have as great
of a reaction as I had hoped. Tazz makes fun of
Striker for a bit, then says he's gonna choke him out
and does. Tazz says he's gonna bring someone out to
help him make the announcement, and I was thinking
maybe Joey Styles. Instead PAUL HEYMAN came out to
the ECW music and my buddy and I marked out big time,
though once again, smaller reaction then I had hoped
for from the crowd. They announce that tickets go on
sale for the next ECW PPV on April 15th and will take
place at the Hammerstein Ballroom on June 12th.

Intermission- I left my seat to hit the bathroom and
talk to a friend for a bit. I heard Snitsky's music
hit and decided it was time for a cigarette break too.
Heard Kane's music from the lobby, he got a big pop
    coming out.

Snitsky vs. Kane. - Made it back in for the end, Kane
hits the clotheseline off the top rope to a big pop.
Snitsky tries for a pumphandle slam....and drops Kane.
Literally, he wasn't even close to getting him up.
Audible is called, Kane slips out of a bodyslam, hits
the chokeslam for the 3 count.

Shelton Benjamin & Triple H vs. Shawn Michaels and Ric
Flair - Mixed reaction for Shelton's entrance. HUGE
face reaction for Triple H's entrance. Michaels and
Flair both get even bigger reactions, with lots of
WOO-ing for The Nature Boy. Fun match, Michaels pulls
down Triple H's tights so his backside hung out for a
minute or so, crowd ate it up. Crowd went nuts for
everything Flair does. End comes with Triple H going
for a Pedigree on Flair, but Michaels hits him with
Sweet Chin Music. Flair then puts the figure four on
Shelton for the tapout win. The faces leave to huge
cheers, leaving Shelton and Trips in the ring. They
exchange words, which ends with Triple H giving him
the Pedigree to a huge pop, then grabs the mic and
says "Long Island, tell him to call his momma." Crowd
is merciless to Shelton here. Just a really fun match
and MOTN for me, with 3 legends in there.

John Cena Vs. Edge - Long Island's own Mick Foley is
the special referee, he comes out to a massive pop.
He says despite getting roughed up by Edge the other
night, he somehow has made it here for 2 reasons: A)
He has the strength of 10 men. B) he lives right up
the road. Crowd eats it up. He blames Lita and her
boobs for distracting him on Thursday night and thusly
bans her...and her boobs from ringside. Edge comes out
to mostly boo's and some cheers. Crowd gets heated
when he takes a kid's Cena sign and rips it up walking
down the aisle. Now it was time for Cena. I must say
after last night, I know why he's still WWE champion.
I earlier mentioned the sheer number of children in
crowd, and I swear to god just about every one of them
had at LEAST 1 piece of John Cena merchandise. Also
some intermittent "We want Cena" chants throughout the
night. Cena's music hits to the largest pop of the
night BY FAR. Decent match, Edge stalls a lot early,
they brawl through the crowd a bit with Cena using
some kid's John Cena inflatable hand to do the "You
can't see me" to Edge. Some teenagers in my section
started booing Cena, but they were such in the
minority that they were often drowned out by the kids
going nuts. Cena wins with the F-U, crowd goes home
happy. I should really note too that Edge does in
amazing job as a heel here too. Left a short time
after the bell, but I assume there was some more
celebrating in the ring for Foley and Cena.

    Biggest Pops(in order):

    Cena (and i mean HUGE)
Michaels/Flair/Foley (hard to tell which was bigger,
    all very large pops)
    Triple H
    RVD
    Trish
    Kane

    Biggest Heat:
Matt Striker (once he started talking)
    Spirit Squad
    Carlito (some cheers too)
Edge (also some cheers, but heat grew as match went
    on)
Shelton (after the match with the momma chants)
