Shaquille O'Neal attends WWE Royal Rumble

Shaquille O'Neal apparently made the trip to Royal Rumble following his game Sunday, as WWE.com reports that the NBA superstar was backstage at the show.

"Near the end of the interview [with WWE Instant Access], Miami Heat All-Star center Shaquille O'Neal walked in to congratulate Rey Mysterio on his big win tonight," WWE.com said in an "Instant Access" interview article.

In the same interview, Rey Mysterio put over the victory that he dedicated to Eddie Guerrero.

"It's overwhelming," he said. "I think that tonight I didn't disappoint Eddie. There was no doubt in my mind that he was looking out for me."

Shaquille O'Neal took part in a pre-Royal Rumble angle with Carlito following a Miami Heat loss earlier in the week. There are no plans for O'Neal to compete in a match at WrestleMania.
