Match 1: Bobby Lashley vs. Brad Attitude

This was a squash match through & through, but an interesting one, as Lashley really displayed some of his wrestling skills here, hitting a variety of impressive suplexes including a long delayed vertical one. The end came when Lashley nailed Attitude with a spear, and then lifted him up for the Dominator, which connected. Lashley makes the cover and gets the win. You know, I will agree with some people who have said that Lashley could be the next Brock Lesnar, but in order for him to get to that level, they need to start putting him into feuds and matches with guys who will help bring up his A-game, and I'm talking about guys like Benoit, Angle, Booker T, etc.

    Winner: Bobby Lashley

Cena/Edge Rumble Match Promo: I think that if these two are given enough time to develop a story flow, then this could be a solid match to watch. I just wish the WWE did a better job at handling this, as it seems like Edge has been more preoccupied with Flair than he has been with Cena.

The new Smackdown interview woman (I don't remember her name at the moment) interviews WWE Cruiserweight Champion Kid Kash and informs him that he will be defending his title in a open Cruiserweight Invitational at the Royal Rumble. Obviously, Kash isn't too thrilled with that, but he promises that he will walk out of Miami with the belt intact. I can't say much for his "Get it? Got it? Good" catch phrase though. Imagine if the WWE allowed Kash to be the guy he was in ECW. Some of the matches he could have with guys like Paul London, Brian Kendrick, Chris Benoit, Kurt Angle, etc would be amazing.

Match 2: Gymini (with Simon Dean) vs. Jason Jones & Dinti Moore

Simon Dean offers a protein bar to the two jobbers, but they refuse and get jumped as a result. That was about the only interesting part of the match, as Gymini squashed Moore & Jones with their generic power moves. I will say that I had some ECW flashbacks when Dean was blowing on that whistle. I was looking around for Bill Alfonso for the longest time. The end came when both members of Gymini had Jason Jones in their hands and just launched him way up in the air and let him drop. They made the cover and got the win.

    Winners: Gymini

WWE SD Magazine Promo: There is an article in the newest issue that they are plugging about how it's Randy Orton's "time" now and he's destined for great things. Yea, great things like boring the shit out of us with various headlock & chinlocks in his matches. I mean, didn't they get the hint after his first run as World Heavyweight Champion bombed?

Smackdown Recap: Kurt Angle vs. MNM in a handicap match. If you didn't find the time to watch it on Friday, I'm not going to waste my time to recap it here.

Match 3: Brian Kendrick & Paul London vs. Jamie Noble & Kid Kash

Ohh yea, this is what I'm talking about. Noble & Kendrick starts things off, trading punches, kicks, and chops. Noble sends Kendrick crashing into the corner and tags in Kash while holding Brian's head down with his foot. Kash nails Kendrick with several boots to the head, and follows that up with some knee shots into the stomach. Kendrick tries to battle back, but Kash knocks him back down and tags Noble back in. Kendrick fires back and manages to make the blind tag to London, and they both double-leapfrog noble as Kendrick hits a hiptoss on Noble, and then hits a hiptoss on London, who flips over right onto Noble. Kash comes in but gets a double-hiptoss, and then London launches Kendrick into the air so that he can nail both men with a double dropkick. Kendrick & London both head up to the top and both launch off on Noble & Kash on the outside. London gets a rollup on Noble but no real count since Noble's shoulder wasn't down. London in control now, getting a two count off a running knee to the head. The tide turns when London heads to the top and Kash knocks him off to the outside when the ref was busy with Kendrick. From here, London was your cruiserweight in peril, as both Noble & Kash wore him down even more. Finally, after a while, London was able to make the tag after Noble missed a charge in the corner and a jumping charge into the ropes. The end came when Kash nailed Kendrick in the head with the cast on his arm, and after Kash went back outside to keep London from coming to his partner's rescue, Noble locked in the dragon sleeper for good measure to pick up the win.

Winners: Jamie Noble & Kid Kash

Match of the Show: Brian Kendrick & Paul London vs. Jamie Noble & Kid Kash

Overall Thoughts: This show was really a one match show, as the London/Kendrick vs. Kash/Noble match was very good, despite some slow resthold periods. The Lashley squash was semi-entertaining, but I couldn't care less about the Gymini, as they haven't shown me anything to make me believe that they deserve a shot at the WWE Tag Team Championship.
