RESULTS FROM CWF MID-ATLANTIC TV TAPING HELD ON JANUARY 7th IN
BURLINGTON, NC
The following results are from the CWF Mid-Atlantic TV Taping held
Saturday, January 7th, at the Carolina Sports Arena located
in Burlington, NC. All bouts are sanctioned by the AWA, the American
Wrestling Association.

1. Bobby Houston defeated K.C. McKnight by pinfall in singles action

5. "Rock N Roll" Matty Dee won the 10-Man Torneo Cibernetico for a
shot at a match of his choosing by pinfall over Gregory Vercetti

NOTES:
Former AWA Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Champion Garry "Madd Trucker"
Stevens addressed the fans discussing the nature of the injures
sustained by "Little Billy" during the main event cage match at
Battlecade VI. Stevens is currently on the shelf until he can get
clearance from his physician to return to the ring due to a
concussion suffered at Battlecade. Stevens is expected to return to
action in January pending medical clearance.
Speaking of injuries, American Steel Ninja is also still out of
action due to a serious concussions he suffered stemming from the
CWF Rumble held in October. His concussion was not thought to be as
serious until he actually passed out during a bout and has been
ordered out of action since. Ninja has not received his medical
clearance and no return date has been projected.
Gemini Kid was injured in the Burlington Street Fight on Saturday.
In an "anything goes" match, Michael McAllister tossed a fireball
into his face and Gemini suffered burns on his face and head. His
status is currenly questionable for the next event in two weeks
based on how the burns heal.
