Update on Gregory Helms, X-Division Tag Championships in 06?

• In a bit of sad news, one of Gregory Helm's grandmothers passed away over the holidays. What makes this situation even worse is that Helm's other grandmother was in the hospital at the same time. Naturally, Helms will be taking time off from his WWE schedule to be with his family, and all of us here at LOP wish to express our condolences to the family & friends of Gregory Helms during this time of mourning.
  
  
• Current NWA-TNA announcer Mike Tenay has been bouncing around the idea of creating a X-Division Tag Team Championship in 2006 to management. It is unknown if this will happen though. On the plus side, it would give some of the other X-Division guys something to shoot for other than just the X-Division Championship, but with only a hour TV slot a week and monthly PPV's, it is hard to say if they would be able to devote enough time to get the new championships over with the fans. Also, there could be a chance that it might decrease the importance of the NWA Tag Team Championship belts.
