  • The official WWE website has posted the following story regarding Tough Enough 3 winner Matt Cappotelli's current health status:

"Last week at an Ohio Valley Wrestling show, WWE developmental star and Tough Enough III winner Matt Cappotelli was struck with a forearm to the head that knocked him out.

It was originally thought that Cappotelli suffered a concussion. However, after a CAT scan was conducted at a local hospital, Cappotelli learned that he had a brain tumor.

“I don’t really have a whole lot of information solidified right now,” said Cappotelli in a phone conversation. “I have to wait to hear from the doctors.”

Cappotelli spent much of last Friday in a hospital in Louisville, undergoing extensive testing.

“My main concern is making sure I do things right for myself and my family,” said Cappotelli. “That’s really my No. 1 concern.”

All of us here at LOP wish Matt Cappotelli a speedy and full recovery. It is heartbreaking that this has to happen now, just when Matt was about to be called up to the main WWE roster. Cappotelli has had similar setbacks before, as he was supposed to be called up a long time ago and win the WWE Cruiserweight Championship off then-champion Chavo Guerrero, but due to injury, the WWE was forced to go with the whole storyline that saw former WWE Diva Jacqueline win the gold from Guerrero.
