WWE News: Benoit's Contract Status, JBL Talks Food, J.R./Eddie

• Chris Benoit's contract is due to expire soon and he has been talking with people about the prospects of being able to make a living wrestling outside of WWE. Although, it's likely that Benoit will be staying with WWE for the immediate future as management has doing everything they can to retain him. Also, he's just been put in a long-term program with Booker T where they will have a best of seven matches series for the U.S. Championship belt.
