News: Bret Hart, Steve Blackman and Tony Atlas

- Bret Hart is the subject of a wrestling column in today's New York Daily News. Bret talks about his DVD for the most part, noting that he had full control of the content of the DVD and that his favorite match was with Davey Boy Smith at Summerslam 1992. Click here to read the article.
- Former WWF wrestler Steve Blackman is profiled in today's Patriot News in Pennsylvania. He discusses his career and his wrestling school in Harrisburg, PA. Blackman also talks about why he had to suddenly retire from pro wrestling a few years ago. Click here to read the article.
- Tony Atlas recently did a radio interview where he claimed that the reason the WWF became big was because they made the Iron Sheik champion, since Sheik was once a bodyguard for the Shah of Iran, and thus it gave the title credibility. Atlas then said that the only reason Sheik lost the belt to Hulk Hogan was because Vince McMahon was scared of the death threats that the Iron Sheik was getting and he had to get the belt off him.
