Celebrity sports appearance confirmed for TNA Impact

A press release Wednesday confirmed that White Sox catcher AJ Pierzynski will be present at next week's TNA Impact tapings in Orlando, Florida.

The baseball player and longtime pro wrestling fan will present team memorabilia to AJ Styles, Chris Sabin and Sonjay Dutt in a segment to air during the December 8 TNA Impact special.

Dale Torborg, a strength coach for the club, will also be present.

Pierzynski's connection to TNA grew during the White Sox's World Series run; borrowing Styles' nickname, Pierzynski was referred to as "Phenomenal" AJ Pierzynski.
