Spike TV gets good news in the UFC, TNA ratings

Spike TV's two fighting programs improved their ratings this week, giving a positive sign for the future of UFC and TNA on the network.

Saturday night's TNA Impact drew a 0.9 rating and saw solid performance in its key demographics. Some believe that if TNA can approach the 1.3-1.5 territory for its primetime special, it will have a great chance of scoring a Monday night timeslot.

The Ultimate Fighter 2 also rose, scoring a 1.4. That is the highest number since the loss of the WWE RAW lead-in, and one that continues to justify Spike TV's heavy investment in MMA programming.
