Steve Austin, other WWE wrestlers to appear in USA original programming?

WWE's new agreement with USA could entail far more than wrestling, reports Multichannel News. The media outlet credits USA's Bonnie Hammer for the news that a number of WWE RAW stars could end up appearing in original USA programming.
Hammer reportedly went as far as to say that she could envision booking a WWE-tinged series as a lead-in to the weekly RAW telecast.
As arguably the biggest WWE commodity, Steve Austin was mentioned by name in the article. The wrestler and occasional actor would likely be one of the early WWE names to score other work on the network.
He won't be the first, however, as Roddy Piper has already been tapped to star in USA's "Three Wise Guys" original Christmas flick.
WWE RAW returns to the USA Network with a "Homecoming" special at 7:55PM on October 3.
