The Ross Report To Return To WWE.com

The Ross Report is finally returning to WWE.com after nearly three years. The weekly column by Jim Ross will be starting up again this Friday. WWE.com has set up a form at contact.wwe.com/jrform for fans to send messages or topic requests to Jim Ross.

The Ross Report was discontinued in early-2003 when WWE felt the fans shouldn't have access to the inside information that the column would provide. Business was in the downswing and it would sometimes be difficult for Ross to acknowledge that business was going down (which would reflect bad on WWE), unlike in previous years when business was booming. Also, the columns would sometimes upset wrestlers on the WWE roster as he'd often have hidden insults and messages in them. And developmental wrestlers would take it personally if he didn't acknowledge them.

Nonetheless, WWE.com has obviously changed their tune in recent weeks as they now welcome "inside" content on the site.
