This is the first time since 2002 and the crowd was pretty decent. The traffic was horrible as the arena is on the premesis of the annual Bangor State Fair. My brother and I arrived at the arena at 6:45 but didn't get parked until 7:25. By the time we made it into the arena the national anthem was going on, and the Bangor Auditorium event staff showed no balls in helping us find our seats. First we got pointed to the wrong seats, when we made it to our 2nd row seats one of hours was available but the other was in use by some guy who wasn't even supposed to be in that section. The usher told us to sit in the front row, but if the people come for those seats he's gonna have to move us. What a dumbass, but enough of that, we eventually got situated and in hour appropriate seats. Now to the show.
Theodore R. Long comes out to run down the card for the night. Which leads into the first bout.
Mexicools (Super Crazy & Psicosis) Def. Nunzio & Vito
Didn't see much of the match due to the seat mix ups, but Super Crazy took advantage of a Psicosis distraction and picked up the win with the Lionsault.
Bobby Lashley Def. William Regal
Lashley rolled up Regal for the pinfall. Regal was looking for his brass knucks while Maine's own Scotty 2 Hotty came out and distracted Regal allowing Lashley to get the win. After the match Scotty ran back in the ring and gave Regal the worm, much to the delight of the crowd.
Boogeyman Def. Big Stevie Cool
Boogeyman came out to Triple H's old heel theme, the one before his My Time themes, also used by the Brooklyn Brawler, and pretty much squashed Stevie Richards. Boogeyman's finisher was a Baldo Bomb into a one handed chokeslam.
LOD Def. MNM
Not much to say about this match but damn Melina looks hotter in person. Torrie ran in and took out Melina which led into the LOD executing the doomsday device for the pin.
Paul London Def. Juvi (w/Mexicools) VIA DQ to retain the cruiserweight title. The mexicools ran in to cause a DQ. London did a pretty cool somersault over the top rope to the outside to take out the mexicools, damn near landed on the rail.
Fatal Four Way For The US Title OJ Def. Booker T (W/Sharmell), Benoit, & Christian Pretty sad when the US Champion is barely involved in the match. The match was pretty much all Benoit & Booker T w/ Christian jumping in every now and then. Orlando Low Blowd Booker T for a roll up pin. After the match Benoit slapped a Crossface on Christian while Booker T delivered an Axe Kick to OJ followed by a Spinarooni.
INTERMISSION
Before I get to the next match keep this is one of the rules that you should keep in mind from the Maine Athletic Commission:
No Blood, or dye packets are allowed and the match will be stopped immediately if a wrestler bleeds or uses a dye packet.
Street Fight: Rey Def. Eddie
Didn't seem much of the match because the wrestled around the whole building. Eddie brought a chair into the ring and gave Rey a brainbuster on it, but only for a two count. Rey then smacked Eddie pretty hard with the chair, next thing I see is Eddie take make a sweep of his forehead with his thumb and index finger. When he got up, he was spurting blood like a MOFO. I've never seen Eddie bleed that bad before. Rey hit the 619 and the springboard splash for the pin. The two kept fighting after the match, with Eddie eventually leaving telling Rey that he's still Dominic's father. To which Sgt. Slaughter (who was working the booth) had this real stupid shocked look on his face. It was a look as if Stevie Richards didn't job to one of the "Next WWE Superstars".
Main Event Batista Def. JBL to retain the World Heavyweight Championship.
JBL came out cutting a promo saying that the only thing they don't have at the Bangor State Fair is a "have sex with your sister" booth. Batista came out, and didn't do his "firing of the guns" taunt, which kinda sucked. The match took a while to get going as the two constantly taunted each other. The ref got taken out and OJ ran in. JBL tried use the belt on Batista but inadvertantely hit OJ. Batista Bomb on JBL for the pin, and that's the show.
BIGGEST POPS: - BATISTA - BENOIT - BOOKER T - SCOTTY 2 HOTTY - LOD/CHRISTIAN
MOST HEAT: - JBL - MNM - OJ - JUVI - EDDIE
Hopefully next time WWE doesn't come to Bangor during the state fair. Really inconveniant. And hopefully they don't lose their license with the athletic commission after the whole Eddie fiasco.

Well this was an interesting little event taking place in the Hellhole that is the bangor white trash auditorium, and it happened to take place right in the middle of the wonderful bangor state fair. For anyone who has never been to maine, do NOT do so during this yearly event. The place was only about 65%full, but i wouldnt expect more from this place anyhow. To get an idea of how lame the bangor auditorium is the isle was like maybe 10 yards long, and they enter through yellow curtains draped over doors, no pyro. It was also 500 degrees inside and had some obnoxious hum in the background along with terrible acoustics. The crowd is loud as hell but thats maine for ya, people dont have much to be excited for around here so we cheer like hell when we have anything. I played the ass heel-mark all night long and thought i was going to get slaughtered by an army of 8 year olds near the end of the night... anyway on with the results.
Chimmel crap, bla bla welcome bla bla. Teddy long comes out and warms up the crowd a bit. Tells us we get a few treats, that the us title match would be a fatal 4 way, and that rey vs eddie would be a street fight, cool, lets go.
FBI v Mexicools
typical curtain jerk play to the fans tag match. Vito looked rusty as hell to me but was good enough for his role in this match. Nunzio was gold as usual, and im really starting to get into the Mexicools. Super crazy didnt have much chance to shine like i was hoping, but got the win over nunzio with a lionsault type move.
William Regal v Bobby Lashley
i didnt have any idea who Lashley was, but he is one house of a man. He resembled jax from mortal kombat if you ask me, just a very immense man. Regal played classic heel, and worked him technically. Lashley didnt have much of a range of moves but hes new and had a little of potential. Regal went for the knucks, but scottie 2 hottie came down to the ring for his obligatory maine appearance (being the only wrestler currently hailing from maine). Scottie makes the save and Lashley gets the rollup pin. Scottie and regal brawl for awhile after the match and we see the worm, maine gets to cheer, everyone is happy.
Stevie richards v Boogeyman
This was a surprise we didnt expect this match at all. Boogeyman is also a very large man but was quite slow paced and richards basically made him look good. He didnt have the horns or cane like i had heard/seen in that one picture. Boogeyman uses a two handed chokeslame for the win. Crowd didnt seem to impressed.
Animal and Heidenreich v MNM
Melina is hot
damn hot
MNM amuse the hell out of me, animal and heidenreich seem to have quite a bit of chemistry. Fun tag match to watch, but very predictable. When going for the finish melina gets in to interfere. Enter tori wilson, tori and animal give melina the old hart foundation finisher, then the two chicks fight all the way out to the back. *tear* the champs hit one sick ass doomsday device on nitro for the win.
Fatal 4 way Booker, Christian, Benoit, Jordan
I was really looking forward to this match, especially seeing Christian, ahhh always gold. Anyway booker t used his 5 moves. Jordan got his ass beat all match, Benoit looks like a god, Christian was signature move fodder. Jordan hits a low blow on booker and god only knows what other cheap crap for the win. Jordan is getting better, booker t is still boring, benoit makes them all look good, and christain keeps on getting the shaft. Booker kicks the hell out of Buckwheat after, and benoit slaps the crossface on christian. Booker seemed to get the rub as he was the last to leave and had his music on.
intermission. t shirt guy has 5 fans to shoot to, somehow still misses our entire section... god how i hate t shirt guy, i never get anything good *grumble*
Rey v Eddie
streetfight. Crowd loves rey, eddie is wearing jeans for the occasion. they fight for awhile, and was not the typical rey eddie match. Lots of fighting in the crowd, rey even put eddie through the merchandise table while people were still buying crap, classic look on some ladies face when she sees eddie land right next to her. The big news with this match is that eddie bladed, like hell. For anyone who doesnt know blading is illegal in this friggin state for reason and has caused trouble in the past. So we will see how long they ban it for this time. Anyway rey wins with some sort of chair shot or something, we were all too surprised about the blade job to appreciate the finish. The brawl more after, rey smears blood around, and tastes it. Eddie picks up a mic and taunts rey more about dominic. i think it went something like this "despite you kicking my ass all the time, im still the dad of the kid who looks JUST LIKE YOU." oh yea, "homez."
Main event JBL v Batista
Really fun to watch, both played their parts well. JBL just destroyed bangor on the mic. made several imbred jokes and took shots at people at the fair, it was great his heel work is unmatched right now. I always route against him, but damn hes good at making people hate him. Solid big man match with JBL trying to leave early on saying that bangor wasnt good enough for him, batista goes "backstage" and tosses him back towards the ring and the match resumes. JBL really turned it on, we had a ref KO, clothesline from hell, OJ comes down with new ref, kick out, jbl knocks out new ref, holds up tista for belt shot, jbl hits oj, then hits dave anyway, drags first ref over counts for him and dave kicks again, jbl taunts more, goes for shots in corner, batista bomb, jbl sells it for about a day and a half. The crowd gets their 20 minute batista pose down. Great match, lots of entertainment, my apologies for the giant run on sentence.
I hate our crowd, its doesnt chant, it just yells. Still lots of pops for the typical faces plus teddy long and scottie. Lots of standard heel heat, no big surprises.
Im not holding my breath for them to return to the area with the poor turnout and massive eddie blade job.
