- The Eddie Guerrero/Rey Mysterio angle continues to be one of the top ratings draws, so much so, that there is serious internal reluctance to moving the two wrestlers into other feuds. As has already been confirmed, WWE will continue the "secret" storyline on next week's episode.

- The Animal & Heidenreich vs. Chris Hamrick and Chuck Szili match was originally scheduled for Velocity, but just prior to the taping, the call was made to run it on the main show.

- While trying to escape his dark match with Batista, JBL took a shot at Buff Bagwell. The former WWE champion explained that he was in no shape to work the match and could even produce a note from Bagwell's mother.
