WWE News - A Description of "The Boogeyman" Marty Wright

Marty Wright, the 40 year old Tough Enough contestant who lied about his age, will be debuting as "The Boogeyman" very soon. It has not been determined yet if he will show up on Raw or Smackdown. Even though he lied to WWE officials about his age, he was so physically impressive that WWE just had to sign him.

WWE aired a vignette promoting someone or something called The Boogeyman on Raw and Smackdown! this past week with a laughing voice coming from a dark room. Some people may have thought that it was a promo for Kane's upcoming movie, but it was actually a promo for this brand new WWE Superstar.

The Boogeyman has debuted on Ohio Valley Wrestling television already in this bizarre gimmick. Describing what he looks like, he's a black male wearing facepaint, an 80's-style fade haircut, big horns on his head, a biker vest, a lei around his neck (something similar to what Rikishi would wear) and he brings some sort of cane to the ring that looks like it came out of the Papa Shango collection.

The Boogeyman has already made his mark in a way as an OVW wrestler/student laughed at him when he was supposed to be scared of him on television. This led to Jim Cornette slapping the student backstage, which subsquently lead to Jim Cornette's dismissal from WWE and OVW.
