Despite early reports that WWE was going to follow a policy of secrecy for the draft, it seems that only the first pick, John Cena, was truly kept silent (and, even then, a few office workers were informed to prepare travel arrangements).

Kurt Angle actually knew about his move to RAW weeks in advance, although that was a special situation since Angle has a very close relationship with Vince McMahon. McMahon often shows his respect for Angle by informing him of storyline plans.

Last Tuesday, nearly everyone in WWE Headquarters was aware of the plan to move Randy Orton to SmackDown!

Since Carlito had been traveling with John Cena and Kurt Angle on Sunday night, his jump was also prematurely revealed.
