Backstage WWE draft news; Possibility of RAW/SD recombining, more

Despite what some informal rumors have suggested, there is absolutely no plan for WWE to recombine the RAW and SmackDown! brands.
Between SmackDown's upcoming jump to the undesirable Friday timeslot and the fact that many believe RAW has gotten in the upperhand in the draft, a negative conclusion about the fate of the brand extension is certainly reasonable. However, sources close to the situation state that Vince McMahon remains interested in continuing the roster split.
Of course, many backstage are interested in how WWE will wrap the draft up next week. Going in, the internal feeling was that SmackDown needed to gain one or two high-profile stars; so far, RAW has gotten far more star power.
