Just got back from Raw...came off excellent live!

Dark Match

Teddy Hart vs. Harry Smith
Great match up...these two know each other extremely well and they put on a great show. Damn Harry looks like his father (the late great British Bulldog)
Harry wins with a sit out power bomb

Heat Tapings

Jericho vs. Simon Dean
Dean rips on Canadians...Jericho makes him tap to the walls. Crowd goes Y2J CRAZZZZZY!!!

Tyson Tomko vs. Unknown Native American grappler
Tomko knocks him out cold and the match is stopped. Tyson destroyed this poor guy! Playing up his part in the WWE vs. ECW angle.

William Regal vs. Synner (whoever that guy is)
Regal with an uneventful knee to the head finishes him off.

Maven vs. ???
Supposed to be Tajiri...but...no Tajiri...and no real explanation why...so Maven challenges anyone who is a former ECW wrestler...and out comes:
LANCE STORM!
Huge pop for the local guy...Lance with a chair to the throat and a flying bodypress gets the nod. Wow! a huge return for the ECW PPV on HEAT...way to go WWE!

A Jericho prom airs of him complaining of his pop...he says the roof blew off the joint when Lance came out and there was hardly a whisper for him (...which was totally not true) setting up their match at the ECW PPV. Wow! a match set up over crowd pops...way to go WWE. Trying to come up with lame excuses for the matches...just let them be what they are for god sake! Don't try to fabricate some lame excuse for a match with less then two weeks to go!

Raw notes:
Nothing major happened. No dark main event. It was scheduled to Batista vs. HHH & Flair...clear reason why it never happened.

The live crowd was paying absolutely no attention to the HHH promo (basically the same promo he said to Nash, Steiner, HBK, Orton, RVD, Kane, Jericho, Rock, Austin, ...just insert name and walla!!)

Huge pops for Victoria when she turned. Huge HUGE pop for Christian when he came out for his very brief segment ( no Capt. Charisma shirts for sale...sucks to be Canadian!) Big pop for Muhammad Hassan ... we Canadians think the things he says makes sense. But the roof blew off the place for Batista.

Benoit got a standing ovation after the awesome tables match. I was the guy with the "Lita cheated with me too" sign and the orange Tazz shirt.

Funny story:
During the beginning of the Hurricane/Rosey tag match a big guy came and stood right infront of me right in the corner front row area...he was a local wrestler...and obviously a plant for the Masterlock challenge...how do I know that...I asked him ...and I had a sign that said "The guy beside me can break the Master Lock!"pretty funny and very coincidental...however...he got taken away during the IC triple Theatre match. We were playing up my sign to the crowd during commercials pointing to the guy and then he got taken away...then Val came out for the challenge. I think they changed the outcome during the show when the whole audience became well aware that there was a plant.
