Sources close to TNA are under the impression that the promotion will announce its new TV deal sometime this week. If earlier rumors are true, that deal will be a primetime Monday night slot (8-10PM) on WGN Superstation.
Although WGN hardly offers the national clearance WCW had during the peak of the Monday Night Wars, the deal would represent the first direct wrestling competition for WWE RAW in years.
If the deal clears, the show would air live every other week, with the taped broadcasts being filmed on alternating Tuesdays.
