Smackdown News: Final ratings, Preemptions in Philly, house show changed
Submitted by Matthew Tremley on Saturday, May 28, 2005 at 11:57 AM EST
- The final numbers for Thursday's edition of WWE Smackdown are in. The show did a 3.0 broadcast rating, with a 5.3 share. While some might consider this low, if you take into account the fact that the show was preempted in the New York market (along with CT cause I got a baseball game instead of SD on Thursday), that is a solid number to bring in for a post-PPV show.
- Speaking of SD preemptions, the market in Philadelphia will be unable to watch Smackdown next week on June 2nd due to a Phillies baseball game. They will replay the episode on Saturday, June 4th at 5:00 p.m. on UPN 57 for anyone who wants to watch it.
- The WWE cancelled a SD house show in Madison, WI for June 5th, and changed the venue for the show to Des Moines, IA. No word yet on why the change was made, but we will keep you informed as more information is released.
