  • Dr. Drew sent in the following live report:

I was at Judgment Day in Minneapolis on Sunday. I thought I would send in some things that I thought were interesting.

Downtown Minneapolis was nuts about an hour before the show. There were people all over in front of the Target Center and they had traffic lanes blocked off for the WWE trucks, so it was a pretty crazy time to be driving around downtown.

I was able to get a ticket at the box office, although it seemed there were alot of peope trying to do the same. While I was there buying a ticket, Todd Grisham and Ivory were there doing a promo for Heat.

I had a seat up toward the top of the upper deck, but it still seemed like a good seat. I thonk that most of the seats in the Target Center were good seats. The place was better probably three quarters full or better. the lower deck was full except for a few scattered seats and some seats around where cameras were set up. The upper deck was probably two-thirds full.

The first match was pretty good. MNM vs Hardcore Holly and Charlie Hass. MNM got good heat, and I was surprised at the pop that Hardcore got. He was very over with the crowd. Melina was hot too. It was the first time I had seen her.

Carlito vs Big Show was the second match. This was a fairly good match. Carlito got alot of boo's, especially when he said he was talking to his 'friend' Randy Moss. Big Show was very over too. Carlito spent some of the match dodging Big Show. The crowd popped big time when Matt Morgan picked up Big Show on his shoulders and held him there for a few seconds before he gave him an F5. That was pretty amazing to see. Big Show seemed a little shaken up after the match from being picked up and tossed.

The match between Chavo and Paul London was next. It was a fast paced match. Both were over with the crowd. The crowd really wanted to see the 450 from Paul London. We got excited when he tried it the first time and then we went nuts when he did it again to win the match.

Booker T vs Kurt Angle was next. This was the best built up match during the actual show, with all the backstage stuff. Booker got one hell of a pop when he came out. The crowd went nuts with the 'you suck' chants when Angle came out. The chants fit in with his music. He got bigger heat than Bradshaw, I think. This was a good match. The crowd went nuts when Angle got handcuffed to the ropes and Sharmell slapped the hell out of him. It took a while for the refs to get the cuffs off of Angle. They must have had a mix up with who had the key cause I even thing they had to stall the show for a couple minutes.

I missed the Orlando Jordan vs Heidenreich match to take a leak. a sixteen ounce beer was six bucks, and it was poured from a plastic bottle to a plastic cup. After this match i walked around a little to get a better view.

Eddie Guerrero vs Rey Mysterio was next. Mysterio was way over, as was Eddie on the heel side. There was alot of action outside the ring in this match. The crowd wanted to see the 619 and went nuts when Rey hit it. This match was exciting, but the crowd quieted right down when Chavo came out. When the ref sent Chavo to the back, Eddie grabbed a chair, but then the ref turned around and disqualified Eddie. It was kind of an abrupt ending. Eddie then beat the hell out of Rey with the chair. Rey had to be helped to the back.

JBL vs John Cena was next. At the start of this match, I was over by the entrance where the wrestlers come out. I could see behind the big screen and I could see JBL's limo and Cena's truck. Bradshaw got big heat. (I'm not used to calling him JBL yet). Cena was over huge. The arena was completely crazy when he came out. He walked on top of JBL's limo and kicked the steer horns off the front to a big pop. There was a big pop when the door got knocked off the limo. This match ended somewhat abruptly, also, for all the trash talking Bradshaw did during the match. Cena tore the smoke stack off the truck and was about to hit Bradshaw when he quit. Cena knocked Bradshaw through the window with the smokestack to a big pop.

The crowd was nuts for Cena while he was celebrating in the ring. I saw some kid get spooked by the fireworks at the end. He hopped up from his seat and just as he turned around and had his back to the ring, the fireworks went off. The kids eyes got so big, he jumped and was back and was back in his seat so fast. I thought that was kind of funny.

Cena just celebrated in the ring after the match and then the announcer thanked everybody for coming to the show.

    Biggest pop:
    John Cena (by far)
    Rey Mysterio
    Booker T
    Big Show
Hardcore Holly got a big pop too. I was surprised he was as over as he was

    Biggest heat:
Kurt Angle (he had the biggest heat by far. It was as loud as the cheers for Cena)
    Bradshaw (JBL)
    Eddie Guerrero
    Carlito

The crowd also popped big when the show started. Matt Morgan also got cheered when he picked up Big Show and held him on his shoulders. That was awesome.

The crowd was loud and crazy the whole night, except for a couple times. I think that the Twin Cities area and Minnesota was happy to have WWE come to town, as it has been a while. I know this might be a little late getting to you but I thought I would send some live notes. I might have missed a couple things, but I covered what I remembered.
