News From WWE Judgment Day: Angle's Blood, JBL/Cena, Boxer, more

- Former champion boxer Roberto Duran was present at Sunday's WWE Judgment Day PPV. Duran, who boxed in five decades, held world titles in four different weight classes.
- After the Kurt Angle/Booker T match, the ring announcer noticeably stalled for time. Supposedly, the stall was prompted by the fact that unshackling Kurt Angle from the handcuffs took a bit longer than expected.
- Although it was not a major injury, Kurt Angle's mouth was legitimately busted open during his match with Booker T. Going into the show, WWE hoped to further intensify the Cena-JBL encounter by reserving all blood spots for that match. The backstage consensus was that the I-Quit stipulation needed to be fully utilized for the PPV to be deemed a success, so highlighting the match's carnage certainly could not be construed as a bad thing.
