CWF MID-ATLANTIC'S LIVE EVENT HELD ON MAY 20TH IN GREENSBORO, NC

The following results are from the CWF Mid-Atlantic live event held
Friday, May 20th, at the AC Fitness Gym in Greensboro,
NC. All bouts are sanctioned by the AWA, the American
    Wrestling Association:

    1. Tank Lawson, Donnie Dollars & Keenan Quinn defeated Classic Rock
("Classic" Chris Collins & "Rock N Roll" Matty Dee) & Rob "Boogie
Woogie Man" McBride by pinfall (11:32)

    2. Garry "Madd Trucker" Stevens & "Dangerous E" Corey Edsel defeated
the AWA Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Champions $outh$ide Playas (J-Money &
Will B. Smooth w/Kiyia Moka) in non-title action by pinfall (9:07)

    3. AWA Mid-Atlantic Television Champion Jesse "El Fuego" Ortega
defeated Xsiris by pinfall to retain the title (9:01)

    4. American Steel Ninja & Brass Munkey defeated The Street Sweepers
(Gregory Vercetti & Jay Sinn) by pinfall (9:56)

    5. Kid Justice defeated Alex Adonis by pinfall (9:47)

    6. AWA Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Champion "Slick Diddy" Ric Converse
defeated "A Very Handsome Man" Mitch Conner by pinfall to retain the
    title (9:04)

    Official: Charles Richardson

    Notes:
The pairing of the two huge monsters, Garry Stevens & Corey Edsel,
was formulated by Stevens to soften up and injure The $outh$ide
Playas and ensure that Stevens & Shadow capture the AWA Mid-Atlantic
Tag Team Titles tonight in Pfafftown. J-Money did suffer rib
injuries in their non-title bout last night and his status for
tonight is questionable. Despite his injuries, J-Money did inform
AWA Championship Coordinator Michael McAllister that he will be at
the West Central Community Center to defend the tag team titles
    regardless of his condition.

AWA Mid-Atlantic TV Champion Jesse Ortega turned back the challenge
of former champion, Xsiris, in a very impressive title match.
Ortega has now defended the championship more than anyone in the
    modern-day era.

Alex Adonis ran down Orlo Helmer as being scared to face him as
scheduled for the night. Orlo had an unexpected trip to
Pennsylvania that prevented him from making the event Friday night.
His partner Kid Justice answered the challenge in Orlo's place and
scored a huge win over Adonis. After the match, as Adonis was
attempting to beat up Justice, Orlo Helmer made an unexpected
appearance as had driven the entire way back from Pa. and ran Adonis
out of the ring to save his partner.

AWA Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Champion Ric Converse succuessfully
defended his title against Mitch Connor in a spectacular bout.
Connor was once again impressive and had hoped that Converse may not
be at his best coming back from a neck injury suffered over a month
ago from Garry Stevens. Converse didn't show any indications that
his injury held him back, picking up the pinfall in just over 9-
minutes. After the match, Garry Stevens attempted to get his hands
on the champ, but decided against it as he found himself facing a
ring full of fan favorites celebrating Converse's triumphant return
    to action.

CWF MID-ATLANTIC ACTION CONTINUES TONIGHT IN PFAFFTOWN, NC

The action continues TONIGHT with a huge tag team title
bout! Garry "Madd Trucker" Stevens had protested that Ric Converse
cost him the most coveted tag team titles in the region when he was
attacked in Wentworth. AWA Championship Coordinator, Michael
McAllister, being fair and impartial, offered Stevens the
opportunity to earn another tag title bout with a new partner.
Garry "Madd Trucker" Stevens & The Shadow secured a shot at the AWA
Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Champions by knocking off Classic Rock last
week. Stevens & Shadow and will face The $outh$ide Playas this
Saturday in Pfafftown for the AWA Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Titles!

AWA Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Champion "Slick Diddy" Ric Converse is
also scheduled to be in action this Saturday at the West Central
Community Center. Who knows what will happen as no one has been
able to keep these two rivals far enough away from each other. Not
even the entire CWF lockeroom could pull them apart as they brawled
in the ring last Saturday night after Stevens TV bout! With
Converse and Stevens in the same building two nights in a row,
    anything can happen!!!

Another huge feud heats up Saturday night as Brass Munkey gets his
one-on-one match with "Dangerous E" Corey Edsel. Commissioner
William L. Cross had banned manager Brad Stutts from the building
and has informed Stutts that if he steps foot in the West Central
Community Center he will be fired! This ensures a fair fight and
that's all that Brass Munkey needs to get his revenge on former
    friend Edsel.

You'll also see AWA Mid-Atlantic TV Champion Jesse Ortega,
Rob "Boogie Woogie Man" McBride, Kid Justice, "A Very Handsome Man"
Mitch Connor, Tank Lawson, and many more!!!

    Don't miss it!!
