More ECW PPV notes (Heyman/Dreamer), rumored Backlash match + possible *spoiler*

-To also follow up on the first ECW PPV post, Paul Heyman is the #1 creative guy on the ECW project. All writers or contributors with ideas send their scripts/ideas to Heyman. Tommy Dreamer is more of contact person for the project, such as gathering wrestlers among other show organizational duties.

John Laurinaitis (Johnny Ace), current WWE Vice President of Talent Relations, is overseeing the entire project and is reporting information directly to Vince McMahon. Jim Ross is also involved with the ECW project as a main consultant to Vince McMahon.

-Tommy Dreamer and Paul Heyman have been the ones pushing hard for a more authentic tone to the show, and Vince McMahon actually agrees with this notion, even though he slaps the WWE logo on most everything he owns and operates!

-For those of you who are in the New York City area, Spike TV will be moving to channel 80 starting tomorrow (Sunday) on Time Warner Cable. Just in case you try to turn into RAW and it's not there...

-Though no official confirmation has happened and RAW never hyped it, Tag champions William Regal and Tajiri might be defending their titles in a 5 way match against Hurricane/Rosey, Simon Dean/Maven, La Resistance, and the Heart Throbs at Backlash. This match was planned to be on the show at one point in time, so time will tell if it appears on the Backlash show, Heat, or at all.

EDIT: This tag match has been officially confirmed by the WWE!

    ***** POSSIBLE SPOILER *****

This was from Dave Meltzer regarding the Triple H vs. Batista Backlash match on his Saturday update"

*HHH vs. Batista - There is no secret this is building to a Hell in a Cell match as per current plans, which would have that match in late June. I can't imagine HHH winning this early, so I'll leave it at that.

Not sure if Mr. Meltzer is stating speculation or legitimate news here. Many HHH feuds do result in "Hell in the Cell" bouts, so it's very likely to be legit. Take the quote however you'd like.
