Breaking News: NWA-TNA Star Chris Candido dead at 33

LATE BREAKING NEWS
The DOI has found out today from NWS Promoter Joe Panzarino, that one of the greats in the business, Chris Candido, passed away tonight. The early reports is that Candido died from a staph infection. This is all we know as of right now. We at the DOI are hoping that this story isn't true, but as of right now according to Joe Panzarino and Balls Mahoney, Chris Candido passed away today at a young age.
The DOI sends its condolences to the friends, family and fans of Chris Candido.

The DOI can 100% confirm that Chris Candido did pass away this past Thursday night. It seems that he received some sort of staph infection during his surgery to fix his broken ankle.
I have talked to alot of people in the wrestling world in the last hour and everyone is just in a huge state of shock. Chris Candido was definitely one of the most liked guys in wrestling. Being in locker rooms, and hearing from people who have been around him, I can tell you that every wrestler from the rookies to veterans, got along with him. Chris would wrestle with anyone and try to make everyone he wrestled look good.
Again, our condolences go out to the family, fans and friends of Chris Candido.

In some disturbing news, Dave Meltzer is reporting that Chris Candido passed away Thursday at the age of 33. Police from Matawan, New Jersey have yet to confirm the reason in regards to his death.
Candido suffered a broken leg at Sunday's TNA PPV, and he underwent surgery on Monday. He appeared as a manager at the TV tapings Tuesday night before returning home and he'll be featured in today's episode.
