  • There have been very conflicting reports released as it relates to an incident between WWE wrestlers and kickboxing fans at a hotel in England. The report below, which is based on a story from PWInsider.com and WWE connections, paints the picture that the WWE workers clearly stepped in to stop a conflict from escalating. However, mainstream media reports have detailed the events from the fans' perspective and have painted the WWE wrestlers as bullies.

  • According to sources close to the situation, a bit of a fight broke out at the Birmingham Hotel that housed WWE's RAW roster. The incident was allegedly sparked by a group of drunk kickboxing fans who were in town for an International Kickboxing Federation event. Because of the event and the WWE workers, the hotel came across as understaffed.

Apparently, some of the fans verbally taunted WWE referee Jack Doan, before one went as far as to strike the official. WWE wrestlers and security quickly stepped in to break up the fight, but the fans would not come down. They ended up having to be physically removed from the hotel, although no police report was filed.
