TNA Lockdown Results - April 24, 2005

Pre Show

Jeremy Borash and Shane Douglas welcome us to the show and send us to Mike Tenay and Don West. Tenay and West talk about some of the matches we are going to see tonight before sending us to our first pre show match.

MATCH 1: DAVID YOUNG and LEX LOVETT vs. KONNAN and RON "THE TRUTH" KILLINGS vs. THE NATURALS with a fully recovered CHRIS CANDIDO. Konnan gets the mike and does his standard pre match schtick. Young and Konnan start us out. Young pushes Konnan into Chase Stevens, who holds him from the apron. Young tries to punch Konnan, but Konnan ducks and Young hits Chase. Young goes to hit Konnan again, but Konnan moves and Young almost hits Andy Douglas. Konnan uses this to slam Andy and Youngs heads together, then he pulls off his shoes and throws them at Young and Lovett. With some help from the Naturals Young takes control and tags in Chase, but Chase turns on Young and knocks him out of the ring. Konnan manages to tag in Lex Lovett and he comes in and hits chase with some punches and suplexes. Chase gets to his corner and tags in Andy, and they double team Lovett. After beating up Lovett Andy tags back in Chase and they double team Lovett some more. Lovett reverses a slam and gets a tag to Young, who stomps Chase and gets a two count. Young chokes Chase on the ropes, then slingshots over the ropes to drop a leg across Chases head. Young lands badly outside the ring, and when he gets back in he only gets a 2 count on Chase. Lovett comes back in, and goes for a top rope move, but Andy shakes the rope and Lovett ends up crotched. Chase climbs up and hits a superplex and both men are down. Lovett crawls and gets a tag to Konnan, who stomps Chase then tags in Killings. Killings comes in a ball of fire, clearing the ring. The Naturals distract the ref, and Buck Quartermain comes in and attacks Killings. Buck is about to use a chair on Killings, when Konnan jumps him from behind, and Killings hits a sitdown pedigree on Lovett for the win.

WINNERS: RON "THE TRUTH" KILLINGS and KONNAN

Borash and Douglas sit in the ring and run down some of the matches for us, and talk about the X Division Title match between Chris Daniels and Elix Skipper. Ring techs come out and begin to set up the steel cage.

Shane Douglas is backstage, and Team Canada and Americas Most Wanted are having a wild brawl. Jeremy Borash is still in the ring, and he talks about some more of the matches we are going to see tonight. Mike Tenay and Don West remind us that the winner of the AJ Styles and Abyss match will face Jeff Jarrett for the title next month. Didnt Abyss win a title shot back at Against All Odds that he has not used yet? Maybe that could result in a triple threat next month is AJ wins tonight. That would be cool.

Back to Borash in the ring, and he gives us the final hard sell for the PPV, and here we go!

TNA Lockdown

1. A video package opens the show, showing the steel cage and talking about the brutality of it. Clips are shown of some more the best steel cage moments, and some great shots of the TNA wrestlers.

Mike Tenay and Don West welcome us to the show and continue to talk about how dangerous the steel cage is. They talk some more about the matches tonight, and we are shown footage of Kevin Nash backstage. They show us his staph infection, and we are told that Kevin Nash will not be able to compete. Dusty Rhodes will be responsible for choosing a replacement for Nash in the main event tonight.

MATCH 1: LANCE HOYT and CHRIS CANDIDO vs. APOLLO and SONNY SIAKI. Hot and Candido come out first, and Hoyt climbs the cage and poses for the crowd. Hoyt gets a pretty good reaction. I think this guy should go face soon. Apollo and Siaki dont get half the reaction Hoyt gets. Hoyt goes face, Siaki goes heel, GOLD. Siaki and Apollo try to get the crowd going, but the crowd just chants Hoyt. Candido and Siaki start us out, and Siaki throws Candido around. Siaki pins Candido after a hiptoss and side kick, but Hoyt breaks it up and the crowd is now chanting Chris Candido. Candido tags in Hoyt and the crowds Hoyt chants are louder than ever. Siaki tags in Apollo, and he and Hoyt trade chops and punches. Hoyt hits Apollo with a knee o the gut, then a poke to the eyes. The crowd loves it. Apollo comes back with a massive chop, then ducks a clothesline from Hoyt and hits a flying back elbow. Apollo tags in Siaki and they double team Hoyt and Siaki gets a near fall. We are shown Chris Candido being taken out by trainers, West says his leg may be broken. Siaki watches Candido being taken away, and Hoyt hits him with a huge boot. Near fall. Hoyt pounds on Siaki, then hits a huge slam, and climbs to the second rope and hits an awesome moonsault, but Apollo breaks up the pin. Hoyt fall away slams Siaki into the cage. Siaki hits a nice kick on Hoyt, but Hoyt wont let up on the offense and stretches Siaki in the ropes, before splashing Siaki against the cage. Hoyt chant is HUGE now. Hoyt with another slam, then climbs to the top rope. Siaki is up, and grabs Hoyt and hits a german suplex! Hoyt flips over in the air and lands on his face! Both men are down and a HOLY SHIT chant from the crowd. I have a felling that wont be the last tonight. Siaki tags in Apollo who takes it to Hoyt. Apollo hits a massive superkick, only gets a near fall. Apollo works over Hoyts knee, then picks up Hoyt and hits a TKO. Apollo slams Hoyt, and Siaki hits a splash off the top rope. Siaki gets the win.

WINNERS: APOLLO and SONNY SIAKI

After the match The Naturals come out and give Hoyt shit for losing. We are told that Candido does have a broken leg. Hoyt grabs Chase Stevens throat, and Andy Douglas attacks him from behind. They double team Hoyt and throw him into the cage. Hoyt tries to fight back, but the Naturals hit the Natural Disaster and leave Hoyt laying in the cage.

2. We got backstage where Dusty Rhodes is with Traci and Trinity. Dusty tells us that the Tag Team Title match between Americas Most Wanted and Team Canada will now be a strap match. Dusty then tells Traci and Trinity to randomly pick the first two men in the Lethal Lockdown match tonight. They pick Jeff Jarrett and Sean Waltman. The next two men will be chosen later tonight.

We see a video package of the Dustin Rhodes and Bobby Roode feud. The match tonight will be a Two out of Three Falls Prince of Darkness Death Match. Why do they let Dusty come up with new matches? War Games was a fluke people!

MATCH 2: BOBBY ROODE with SCOTT D'AMORE and A-1 vs. DUSTIN RHODES in a 2 out of 3 falls Prince of Darkness Death Match. Dustin takes it to Bobby, hitting him with punches, then whips him and hits a back body drop. Dustin punches and stomps Roode, who runs scared and tries to hide behind the ref. Bobby pushes the ref into Dustin, then rolls him up uses the ropes. Roode gets the first fall. Dustin is mad now, and slams Roode into the corner, then sets him up in the corner and hits the Shattered Dreams. Dustin sets Roode up on the top rope, and superplexes him. Dustin stomps away some more, but Roode recovers, punches Dustin, then sets up for a powerbomb. Dustin reverses, and slingshots Roode into the cage and gets a near fall. Dustin throws Roode into the cage again, then hits a powerslam for another near fall. Dustin goes for his big Bulldog, but Roode stops him. Dustin hangs on, kicks Roode in the nuts, then goes for the Bulldog again. This time Roode throws Dustin off, then spears Dustin against the cage. Roode shoulder blocks Dustin into the cage, then punches him. Roode uses the Val Venis knee series, then back drops Dustin for another near fall. Roode pins him again, only 2. Roode locks in a scissors hold with a chin lock, but Dustin fights up with a series of elbows. Dustin whips Roode into the corner, but runs into a boot. Roode goes for a slam but Dustin rolls him up for 2. Roode hits a clothesline, then comes off the top rope with a knee drop. Roode only gets 2. Roode locks in the scissor hold with chinlock again, and Dustin seems out. The ref raises his hand. 1, 2, Dustin begins to fight out. Roode tries to hang on, and decides to drop on Dustin. Dustin is back down, and Roode locks on the chin lock again. Dustin fights up, picks Roode up on his shoulders, then slams Roode into the amt. Both men are down. Roode is first up and goes for Dustin, but Dustin fights him off and slams Roode into the door, which gives a little. Dustin slams Roode into another cage wall, then goes for the Curtain Call. Roode flips over, and hits a clothesline to the back of Dustins head. Roode goes for the pin, but Dustin gets a foot on the rope. Roode thinks he has the win, but the ref corrects him. Roode picks up Dustin, sets him on the corner, and goes for a german suplex. Dustin fights Roode off, and thy slug it out on the top tope. Dustin grabs Roode and hits a top rope bulldog for the second fall. Now the hoods come out and this is now a blindfold match. The ref puts on the hoods, and Roode and Dustin stumble around looking for each other. Dustin manages to grab Roode, and goes for the Bulldog. Roode fights him off, and both men swing at eachother and take out the ref. Scott D'Amore uses this to slip a chair into the cage, and Roode looks for it while Dustin checks the ref. D'Amore gets the cage door open and comes in the with hockey stick to take out Dustin, but Roode finds the chair and smashes D'Amore with it. Roode tries to pin D'Amore, but realizes who it is. Dustins buddy Cassidey Riley runs down and distracts A-1, andDustin finds the chair and smashes Roode over the head for the win.

WINNER: DUSTIN RHODES

3. Riley and Dustin celebrate in the cage, and Riley checks on the ref.

Backstage Shane Douglas is interviewing Chris Daniels. Daniels tells us that the X Division belt means more the Triple X or Elix ever did to him. Elix comes in, and says that tonight the world will be watching and the time is right. Shane says that the match tonight will be Primetime.

MATCH 3: MICHAEL SHANE with TRINITY vs. SONJAY DUTT vs. CHRIS SABIN vs. SHOCKER. It is great to see the original playa from the Himalyas, Sonjay Dutt again. The rules of this match are simple. Pins and submissions until two men are eliminated, then to win you must escape the cage. Sabin and Dutt start it out. They X Style chain wrestle, and then flip around. Looks more like gymnastics than wrestling guys. Dutt hits a three revolution hurricarana in Sabin, who responds with a hurricarana of his own. Shocker and Shane are tagged in, and Tenay and West talk about some McDonalds commercial Shocker was in, and says you could not turn on the TV without seeing it. I never saw it, and I watch a lot of TV. Shocker and Shane do their share on X Style chain wrestling, until Shocker hits a nice facebuster. Shocker hits Shane with some corner chops, then another facebuster. Dutt is tagged in, and he and Shocker double team Shane. Dutt slams Shane into the cage, and tags in Sabin. Sabin stomps at Shane, and tags back in Dutt. They double team Shane, and gets a near fall. Dutt runs at Shane, but Shane ducks and elevates Dutt right into the cage wall. Shane picks up Dutt, hits a clothesline, gets a near fall. Shane hangs Dutt in the corner, and chokes then dropkicks him in the face. Near fall. Shane locks in a chin lock, but Dutt fights out. Dutt whips Shane into the corner and charges him, but runs right into a boot and Shane rolls him up for a near fall. Dutt hurricaranas Shane, then tags in Sabin. Shane slams Sabins head into the cage, then again. Shane goes for pin. Only 2. Shane stomps on Sabin, but Sabin fights up and hits a springboard DDT. Both men are down. Shocker is dying for a tag in. Sabin tags him in, and Shocker comes in after Shane. Clothesline, scoop slam, and a Lionsault for a near fall on Shane. Roll up for a near fall on Shane. Shocker whips Shane into the corner, but runs into a boot, and Shane locks his legs around Shockers neck. Shane falls between the ropes and the cages, and Dutt runs in and chinlocks Shane. Sabin runs in and puts a Boston Crab on Dutt. Dutt fights off Sabin, who runs at Shocker, Dutt trips him and Sabin goers feet first into the back of Shanes head, which hits the cage HARD. Dutt runs into a kick from Sabin, then Sabin sets Dutt into powerbomb position and slams Dutt into the cage. Sabin then hits a running sitdown powerbomb on Dutt, Shocker breaks up the pin. Shocker then TKOs Sabin for a 2 count. Shocker misses a kick, and Sabin hits an enzugiri. Dutt comes off the top with the Hindu Press, but Shane breaks up the fall. Shane whips Dutt into the corner, runs into a boot, Dutt goes for a hurricarana, Shane stays up, and slingshots Dutt into the cage and hits a superkick. Shocker kicks Shane, hits a spinning elbow drop, and pins Dutt for the first elimination. Shocker beats on Shane, goes to the top, but Sabin runs in and suplexes Shocker off the top. Sabin pins Shocker, Shane breaks it up. Shane puts Sabin on the top rope, goes for a superplex, Sabin fights him off, Trinity tries to climb the cage to help Shane and Traci runs down and tries to stop her. Trinity kicks Traci off the cage and Traci looks hurt. All three men are fighting in the middle of the ring now, and Trinity Moonsaults off the top of the cage and takes down all three. Traci is up, comes in the cage and attacks Trinity. Shane throws Traci out of the ring, but Sabin hits the Cradleshock on Shane for the second elimination. Winner now has to escape the cage. Shocker is climbing up, but Sabin pulls him off and goes up himself. Shocker is up, and they trade chops on the top rope. Both men fall off. Shocker us up first, but Sabin follows him up the cage. Both men get to the top, and thy both get to the outside of the cage. They trade blows, and both fall off. Shocker landed first, and is the winner.

WINNER: SHOCKER

4. A video package gives us the history of the Raven/Jeff Hardy feud.

MATCH 4: RAVEN vs. JEFF HARDY in a Tables Match. Tables are set up in the cage, and Hardy comes down with some chairs. Hardy goes after Raven with the chair early on, and uses it to smash Raven, and come off it for splashes. Hardy misses Raven and goes into the cage, and Raven uses that to take control. Raven slams Hardy into the ring several times, then drop toeholds Hardy into the chair. Raven sets up a table in the corner, then DDTs Hardy. Raven sets Hardy against the table and goes for a splash, but Hardy moves and Raven goes through. Hardy grabs the chair and chokes Raven with it. Hardy suplexes Raven, then leg drops Raven with the chair. Hardy throws Raven into the cage, then grates Ravens face against it. Hardy goes for a suplex, but Raven reverses into one of his own. Hardy is up first, and climbs up to the top rope. Raven follows and tries to slam Hardy off, but both men fall off. Hardy is up, and gets a table set up. Hardy puts Raven on the table, and climbs the cage. Hardy gets to the top, and goes for the Swanton. Raven moves, and Hardy goes through the table. Raven is up, and he grabs Hardy and slams his face into the chair. Raven pounds on Hardy, then climbs to the top rope. Hardy runs in, and knocks Raven into the cage. Hardy slams Ravens face into the cage, but Raven hits Hardy with a low blow. Raven grabs a piece of the table and drives it into Hardys face. Raven grabs the chair, sets it up, but Hardy reverses and drop toeholds Raven into the chair. Hardy climbs to the top of the cage again while Raven tries to open the door. Hardy steps on the door as Raven moves it and Hardy is crotched on the door. Raven tries to move the door again, but Hardy slams the door into Ravens face. Hardy climbs back to the top and dives off at Raven, but Raven gets his feet up and Hardy goes into them face first. Raven grabs a table and sets it up, then another next to it. Raven stomps Hardy, then sets up another table on top of the others. The ref even helps him do it. Raven grabs a fourth table, sets it up with the others. We now have two tables with two on top. Raven drags Hardy on the top rope over the tables, but Hardy fights back, Raven falls onto the tables, and Hardy climbs to the top and legdrops Raven through all four tables!

WINNER: JEFF HARDY

5. Video package of the Team Canada/AMW feud.

MATCH 5: AMERICAS MOST WANTED vs. TEAM CANADA for the NWA WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS in a Cage Strap Match. Petey Williams and Eric Young will be representing Team Canada tonight. A-1 is with them. AMW comes out straps in hand, and both teams set their flags up on top of the cage. Petey Williams bails out, and Young tries to climb out to get away from AMW and the straps. Harris and Petey brawl outside the ring as Storm whips Young. Petey gets in the ring, and Harris follows but A-1 smashes Harris in the back of the head. Harris falls down outside the cage, and Storm is locked in the cage without his partner. A-1 beats on Harris while Petey and Young double team Storm in the cage. This goes on for awhile, and things dont look good for AMW. Petey pulls down AMWs American Flag and beats Storm with it. Harris fights off A-1 and tries to climb into the cage, but Young knocks Harris off. Storm manages to fight off a top rope hurricarana from Petey and powerbomb him. Young comes at Storm though, and they trade blows with the straps. Petey is up and he hits a huge tornado DDT on Storm and tries to pin him with the ropes. The ref sees and stops the count. Young and Petey continue to double team Storm while A-1 chokes Harris outside. Harris fights A-1 off, and climbs into the cage! Harris slams Young, then picks up Petey into a vertiacl suplex position, and slams Petey into the cage a few times before dropping him. Young climbs to the top rope, but Harris grabs him, but Petey slams Harris from behind intot he cage. Storm goes for a superkick, but Petey reverses and locks in the sharpshooter. Young comes off the top with an elbow drop on Storm, and Petey pins him. ONLY 2! Storm gets up, and Petey goes for the Canadian Destroyer, but Harris hits a HUGE spear! Cover, only 2. Young tries to superkick Harris, who catches the foot, spins him around, right into a superkick from Storm. AMW goes for the Death Sentence, but Petey pulls Young out of the way. A-1 slides the hockey stick to Petey, who smashes it over Harris. Cover, only 2! A-1 slips in a bag of powder to Petey who tries to throw it into Storms face, who kicks it right back into Peteys face. Young takes down Storm and tries to help Petey, but Petey does not know it is Young and kicks him. Petey then hits the Canadian Destroyer on Young, and AMW grabs Petey and hits the Death Sentence for the win.

WINNERS: AMERICAS MOST WANTED

Harris and Storm climb the cage and celebrate with the flag and belts.

6. Tenay and West hype us up for the X Division title match, and show us a video package for the match.

MATCH 6: ELIX SKIPPER vs. THE FALLEN ANGEL CHRISTOPHER DANIELS for the NWA X DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP. Chris and Elix circle each other and stare each other down. They lock up, and X Style chain wrestle to begin. They counter move after move, and neither man can get an advantage. Both men go for their finishers, but the other reverses. Several near falls, and they end up staring each other down again. Elix drop toeholds Chris, then locks in a headlock. Chris fights out, and locks in a headlock of his own. Elix gets out, and they trade shoulderblocks. Neither man can seem to get an early advantage. Daniels forces Elix into the ropes, and hits him with some nasty chops. Elix responds with a butterfly suplex, then a gut wrench suplex, then a back drop. Elix does a hand stand on the top rope, and drops into an elbow drop. Elix goes for a reverse vertical suplex, but Chris flips over and picks Elix up onto his shoulders. Chris slams Elix into the cage, then kicks Elix face first into the cage. Chris stomps away on Elix, and chokes him with his boot. Chris throws Elix into the cage again, and tries to whip Elix. Elix reverses and Daniels runs right into a dropkick. Elix gets up, but Chris is up and throws Elix shoulder first into the cage. Elix is really selling a shoulder injury. Chris stomps at the shoulder. Elix tries to fight back, but Chris punches the shoulder. Chris hits a suplex, but instead of pinning Elix he rolls over into an arm bar. Elix wont give up, but the shoulder is bad now. Chris uses the ropes to put more pressure on Elixs shoulder, then punches it some more. Chris hits a hammerlock back drop, and Elix lands right on his shoulder. Chris goes for the cover, but Elix lifts up at 2. Chris works on the shoulder some more, but Elix fights back, reversing a kick into a slam. Elix hits a series of elbows, then a nice spin kick. Elix kicks Chris in the back, and gets a 2 count. Elix whips Chris into the corner and runs at him, but Chris leaps to the second rope and backflips over Elix, who bends backwards, his head touching the mat, then lifts back up in something right out of the matrix. Elix grabs Chris and hits a suplex, then goes to the top rope and hits a high legdrop. Elix picks up Chris, who fights out and hits a chokeslam on Elix before hitting the BEST MOONSAULT EVER! Only a 2 count! Chris climbs to the top of the cage, but Elis follows and crotches Chris on the top. Elix climbs up to the top of the cage and is about to repeat his Turning Point moment, but Chris sees him and gets off quick. Elix then splashes Chris from the top of the cage! Elix goes for a cover, but only 2! Elix goes for the Sudden Death, but cant hold Chris with the bad shoulder, and Chris goes for the Angels Wings. Elix reverses into the Sudden Death, but still cant hold Chris and Chris reverses back into the Angels Wings, and hits it for the win.

WINNER: THE FALLEN ANGEL CHRISTOPHER DANIELS

7. Dusty Rhodes is backstage, and he is randomly choosing the third man to enter the cage. The third man is The Outlaw.

MATCH 7: JEFF JARRETT, THE ALPHA MALE MONTY BROWN, and THE OUTLAW vs. DDP, SEAN WALTMAN, and a MYSTERY PARTNER in a LETHAL LOCKDOWN CAGE MATCH. Sean and JJ brawl outside the ring to begin, and they brawl into the crowd. Sean uses and trash can on JJ, and they fight to where we cannot see them. When they get back to where we can see them JJ is in control, and he drops Sean into a barricade and smashes him with the trash can. JJ grabs a cookie sheet and bashes Sean with it. JJ drags Sean to the announce table and tries to slam his face into it, but Sean reverses and slams JJs face into the belt on the table. Sean and JJ climb on the table, and Sean spin kicks JJ off the table. Sean grabs a bullrope with cowbell and whips JJ with it. Sean tries to hit JJ with a chair, but JJ ducks and Sean hits the cage. JJ punches Sean to the face, and throws him into the cage. JJ beats Sean with a trash can in the cage, but Sean fights back and throws JJ into the cage twice before using the trash can on JJ again. Sean sets up JJ for the Bronco Buster, but JJ ducks and Sean goes into the cage. Both men are down, and Sean is up first. He hits JJ with a spinning elbow right as the 5 minutes is up and here comes the Outlaw. Sean is a house of fire, hitting spin kicks and drop kicks on both men. Outlaw gets a trash can lid and bashes Sean over the head several times. JJ and Outlaw circle Sean, and Outlaw holds Sean for JJ to bash him with the lid. Outlaw throws Sean into the cage as the crowd counts down.. DDP is the next man, and he comes down with a Kendo Stick. DDP goes after both men with the stick, and slams them both into the cage. DDP is whipping JJ, and when Outlaw comes at DDP with the lid DDP kicks it back into his face. DDP goes for the Cutter on Outlaw who counters with a low blow. Outlaw uses the stick on DDP as the crowd chants down again, the next man in the Alpha Male. Can we really call him the Alpha Male anymore when he is JJs lackey? He would be the Beta Male now. But anyway, Monty comes down with a bat and beats DDP down with it. JJ beats on DDP now with the kendo stick while Monty and Outlaw beat on Sean. The heels wont let the faces get any advantage now, and they beat them mercilessly. Monty fall away slams Sean into the cage. the crowd chants down, and the last man is BG James. JJ runs out to meet BG, and BG uses a trash can lid to beat down JJ outside the cage. BG drags two trash cans into the cage, and slams the cage door on Monty. BG uses the cans to beat down Monty and JJ, then turns to face the Outlaw. Neither man makes a move, and Sean gets up and attacks the Outlaw. BG goes after JJ, and Sean then hits the bronco buster on JJ. Waltman sets up a trash can on Montys face and hits the buster on him too. JJ comes at Sean, who kicks him and goes for the X Factor, but Monty hits the POOOUUUNNNNCCCCEEE!!!!! on Sean. BG swings a trash can at Monty, who ducks and hits the POOOUUUNNNCCCCEEE!!!!! driving the can right into BG! Monty goes for the pin on BG, but DDP breaks it up. JJ attacks DDP and goes for the stroke, but DDP reverses and hits the Cutter. Outlaw breaks up this pin, then goes for the Fameasser, but Sean kicks Outlaw right in the face. Monty is up, and DDP and BG beat him back and forth with the trash cans. DDP and BG try to double team Monty, but he reverses and hits the POOOUUUNNNNCCCCCEEE!!! on both men! Monty goes to slam Sean, who tries to flip over and cant. Monty goes for the cover, but DDP breaks it up. Monty goes to slam Sean again, but this time Sean flips over and rolls up Monty and gets the pin.

WINNERS: SEAN WALTMAN, DDP, and BG JAMES

The faces beat down the heels after the match, and Outlaw stares at BG from outside the cage.

8. Video package for the AJ Styles/Abyss feud, which gave us some of the best matches of 2004. Their falls count anywhere match and double tables match were incredible. It is awesome they are going to be the main event tonight.

MATCH 8: AJ STYLES vs. ABYSS in a NUMBER ONE CONTENDERS MATCH. AJ comes out first, and when Abyss comes out and gets to the cage door AJ comes flying out and takes down Abyss. AJ tries to whip Abyss, but Abyss is too strong, and he whips AJ at the barricade. AJ slides under it, then leaps off it and hurricaranas Abyss. AJ punches Abyss, then slams his head into the barricade then announce table. Abyss tumbles to the cage, and AJ follows him around the ring punching him. Abyss fights back, and tries to whip AJ into the ring steps. AJ leaps off them, off the barricade onto another in the crowd, then over the crowd and ringside barricade right into Abyss. Abyss goes right into the cage and the crowd loves it. AJ punches Abyss, then charges him. Abyss dodges and AJ goes over the barricade into the crowd. Abyss follows and beats on AJ in the crowd. AJ fights back with some punches, but Abyss grabs AJ by the throat and flings AJ into a cage around the crowd. Abyss brings AJ back through the crowd, and throws AJ over the barricade back to ringside. Abyss pounds on AJ and slams him into the ring. AJ fights back, and throws Abyss weakly into the barricade. AJ punches Abyss more, then goes to get into the cage. Abyss slams the cage door right into AJ, then again right into AJs face! Abyss grabs a chair, and waits for AJ to get up. Abyss slams the door into AJs face again! Abyss opens the cage door and throws the chair in, then hits AJs freshly bloody forehead with shot after shot. Abyss throws AJ in the ring, then gets the thumbtacks and gets in. Abyss sets a chair in the corner ropes, then goes for AJ. A forearm to AJs face puts him down again. Abyss grabs the chain and wraps it around AJs throat. AJ gets up as Abyss tries to choke him, and AJ gets it of but turns right into a huge boot from Abyss. Abyss slams AJ around, and things dont look good for the Phenomenal One. AJ gets thrown into the cage a few times, then Abyss whips AJ into the ropes and catches him into a press slam. AJ reverses it into a DDT! Abyss is up first, and picks up AJ, but AJ punches at Abyss then hits the Pele. AJ then comes at Abyss and hits a head scissors, then springs off the ropes and tries for his reverse DDT. Abyss is too strong though, and Abyss whips AJ into the corner and charges. AJ leaps over, and Abyss goes right into the chair he set up there earlier. AJ hits a HUGE GERMAN SUPLEX, but only gets 2! AJ sets up for the Styles Clash, but Abyss flips AJ over. AJ lands on his feet, but gets grabbed for a chokeslam. AJ reverses into a rollup, but only 2! AJ hits a corner clothesline, but then walks right into the BLACK HOLE SLAM! Abyss covers, ONLY 2! Abyss grabs the tacks and lays them out on the mat. Abyss whips AJ and goes for the Black Hole Slam, but AJ reverses and goes for the Styles Clash. Abyss is too strong, and tries to powerbomb AJ into the tacks, but AJ reverses and HITS THE STYLES CLASH RIGHT INTO THE TACKS!! Cover, ONLY 2!! AJ climbs to the top of the cage, but Abyss chokeslams the ref into the cage to knock AJ off. AJ hangs on as Abyss runs into the cage trying to knock AJ off. Abyss grabs the chain and climbs the cage. Abyss wraps the chain around AJs neck and chokes him. AJ gets it off as Abyss punches him, then grabs AJs throat and tries for a chokeslam. AJ fights out, and sunset flips over and POWERBOMBS ABYSS OF THE ROPES INTO THE TACKS!! AJ covers and gets the win!!

WINNER: AJ STYLES

AJ celebrates a HARD FOUGHT victory as the show ends, and a promo is shown for next months PPV Hard Justice.
