Fort Worth, Texas WWE RAW Opener: The fireworks went off in the arena as the RAW Brand makes it final stop before WrestleMania, and tonight, Christy Hemme will meet Trish Stratus in an arm wrestling match, and Shawn Michaels will take on Muhammad Hassan. Also, Triple H and Batista will meet nose to nose in a face off! In the arena: Chris Jericho is in the ring for the Highlight Reel and we are only six days away from the biggest event in WWE history, WrestleMania 21! The anticipation is huge. It’s a night when dreams come true and when history is made. He said he knows about making history because he was the first ever Undisputed Champion, and he is going to do it again by winning the Ladder Match at WrestleMania. A briefcase was shown hanging above the ring, and a ladder was also in the ring. He said he craves to be World Champion once again, more than anyone in this match. He then announced his guest, Chris Benoit. Benoit made his way to the ring and shook hands and then Jericho announced his second guest, Shelton Benjamin, who is the Intercontinental Champion. Chris Jericho said he was glad they could join him tonight because it’s obvious they have a respect for each other, and you can call them friends, but this match is every man for himself, and he will do anything he has to do to win. Benoit said that was fine, he has no problem with that. He said he does have a problem with the claim that Jericho made about him being the hungriest to win. Benoit said last year at WrestleMania he stood in the ring as the World Heavyweight Champion, and there is no greater feeling. He said he would do anything to regain that. We all know ladder matches are dangerous, he just about broke his neck in one of them. He said there is no one hungrier than him. Benjamin to interrupted Benoit and said just because he overcame a broken neck does not make him the hungriest. He said he has never been World Champion, and that puts him beyond hunger, he’s starving! He said he is the only one in the match that knows something about being champion. The music of Christian then hit in the arena as he came out with Tyson Tomko. He said they are all talking about being hungry, but they don’t look hungry to him, they look full, full of crap! He said no one has more incentive to win that match than him. No one is picking him to win, just like no one picked him last year when he beat Jericho. He said he is at his best when his back is against the wall. Benjamin said Christian would get his ass whooped by Triple H or Batista if he won the Ladder Match. Christian has something that he has something that none of them have, and that is two WrestleMania ladder match wins. Edge then made his way down and said he hates to break it to Christian, but he is not the only one who has two ladder match wins at Mania. He said on his own, he will be winning his third, and when it comes to you three, you can save the talk about making history, and broken necks, because he has done all of that. Edge said he would snap all of their necks to win his chance at the World Championship. Benoit said not if he breaks his first! A pier six brawl broke out as Christian was sent outside and a faces cleared the ring as we went to the first commercial break of the night. Referee: Earl Heber Edge, Christian and Tyson Tomko vs.Shelton Benjamin, Chris Benoit and Chris Jericho The start: Back on RAW and a six man tag team match is underway resulting from what went on before the break. Jericho took down Christian and hammered away and then hit a back elbow and a suplex. Jericho did his cocky cover for a one count and then tagged in Benjamin. Shelton grabbed a side headlock and then hit a big shoulder for two. Benjamin went back to the headlock but Christian backed him to the corner and tagged in Tomko. Tomko clubbed the back of Benjamin but Benjamin fought out of the corner against all three men. Benjamin knocked Christian off the apron but Tomko hit a big spinebuster and then went to work with right hands on the mat, and then choked him before covering for two. Mid-match notes: Edge was tagged in who chopped and punched away at Benjamin. Edge choked Benjamin in the ropes as a “You Screwed Lita” chant started up. Edge scored with a suplex for two and then tagged Christian. Benjamin came back with a cross body but Christian hit a big right hand to keep control. Christian locked in a front face lock as the fans started to get behind the IC Champion. Benjamin made the tag but the referee was distracted and then the heels triple teamed him in the corner. Edge tagged in and delivered a snapmare into a rear naked choke. Benjamin broke the hold and both men went for a clothesline and both men are down. Benjamin tagged Benoit who went to work with a suplex on Edge and Christian and then knocked Tomko off the apron and went for the Sharpshooter on Edge. Christian made the save but was then treated to three German Suplexes. Benoit headed up top for the headbutt. Tomko tried to stop him but he hit Tomko away and then Edge straddled him on the buckle. Edge hit a superplex and Benoit is bleeding from the forehead as we go to commercial. Back on RAW and Christian has Benoit in a rear naked choke in the middle of the ring. They showed footage of how Benoit got busted, and it was when he head butted Tomko. Christian hit an elbow drop for two and went back to the rear naked choke. The fans got behind Benoit as he escaped the hold and hit some chops but was knocked back down by Christian with a back elbow. Christian covered but Benjamin broke it up. Christian hoisted Benoit to the top rope and went for a superplex but Benoit head butted him down and then hit the headbutt from the top. The Finish: Benoit made the tag to Jericho who knocked Edge off the apron and Christian tagged Tomko. Jericho hit a running enziguri on Tomko for two and then Benjamin came in to take care of Christian. Edge went for a spear but Jericho moved and Edge nailed Tomko. Benjamin went for the Dragon Whip on Edge but he moved and Benjamin nailed Benoit! Christian hit a rear DDT on Edge and Benjamin took down Tomko with a T-Bone. Jericho then locked in the Walls of Jericho to get the win. The Aftermath: Christian got in the ring and knocked down Jericho with the ladder and then Kane’s music hit as he made his way down. Christian ran at Kane but Kane kicked the ladder into his face. Kane nailed Benjamin and Jericho, and then Tomko with it. Kane grabbed Edge and gave him the chokeslam and he picked the ladder up and set it up in the middle of the ring and climbed it and then his pyro went off as Kane stands tall going in the Ladder Match! Backstage: Bischoff enters Batista’s locker-room wanting his word that there will be no physicality between HHH and Batista in their face off. He can’t risk the main event after seeing what just happened with Kane and the others from the six pack match. Batista says that Triple H better not start anything because he sure will finish it. As Bischoff leaves, Bischoff asks if really meant it when he called him a used car salesman, if he was kidding. Batista said he wasn't kidding. Bischoff then sucks up to him saying it was too bad because he thought Batista's movie trailer for WrestleMania was the best. Bischoff said he thought Batista had the IT factor and that he could be a huge star. Batista then interrupted Bischoff saying that he could be a star too because he reminded him of his favorite movie - Pulp Fiction. Bischoff then asked which character he reminded Batista of, John Travolta? Bruce Willis? Batista told him that he reminded him of the Gimp in the box with the S&M gear on. Bischoff left the room angered to find Triple H to give him the same warning. Backstage: Christy and Lita make their way to the ring for an arm wrestling contest against Trish Stratus. In the arena: Christy and Lita make their way to the ring for the arm wrestling contest as Jerry Lawler shares more pictures from Christy's Playboy pictorial. Trish Stratus makes her way to the ring with a disgusted look on her face, staring at Lita and Christy in the ring. Referee: Jack Doan Christy Hemme vs. Trish Stratus Christy and Trish locked up but Trish pulled away and needed to warm up with her title belt. They locked up again but Christy quickly slammed Trish’s arm down and Christy has won with ease! Lilian informed us that Trish said she was not ready, and wants a second chance. They locked up again and Christy slammed Trish’s arm down again! Trish knocked down Lilian and then kicked out the leg of Lita who was helping Lilian up. Christy looked pissed as Trish showed off her belt and left the ring. Backstage: Backstage, Randy Orton was sown on his way to the ring as we go to commercial. In the arena: The music of Randy Orton hit in the arena as he made his way out to the ring, and he finds himself in the eye of controversy this week, as last week he gave his girlfriend, Stacy Keibler, the RKO. Orton got in the ring and posed on the buckle before grabbing the mic. Orton was met with a mixed reaction from the crowd. He said last week, he asked Stacy a question. Do you think that I can beat the Undertaker at WrestleMania? After, he asked her that, she hesitated. He didn’t. He said his message was made clear. You are either with him or against him. Orton repeated it as the fans booed. Orton said that since she was not with him, she was a distraction, and heading into WrestleMania he made a promise to himself to eliminate all distractions. He knows why the Undertaker is undefeated at WrestleMania, because all of his opponents had themselves beat before even getting in the ring. They were all scared. He is not scared of the Undertaker. He has seen his future and it is not a head stone, it is a Hall of Fame plaque. It says Randy Orton, Third Generation Superstar, Youngest WWE Champion in History, and the only man to defeat the Undertaker at WrestleMania. Orton said years from now, people will talk about his undefeated streak. It started last year with Foley and the Rock, and it will continue this year with Undertaker. He said Taker can’t beat Orton. The dong hit in the arena and a freaky video played showing all of the Undertaker’s wins at WrestleMania, counting down from 12 to 1. Undertaker’s voice then said “Randy Orton, Rest In Peace”. Back in the arena and Orton looked around him as the ring posts set on fire! Orton looked scared to death as the music of the Undertaker played! Backstage: Orton was shown leaving the arena as Kane called his name. Kane stood behind Orton. Kane said he heard what Orton said about the Undertaker. Kane said he faced his brother twice at WrestleMania, and both times he was lucky to escape with his soul. He doesn’t know what he is getting into, and he can’t beat what he can’t understand. Kane said he has to show the Undertaker that he is not afraid of him, and he has six days to prove it! Triple Threat Match Referee: Chad Patton Maven and Simon Dean vs. La Resistance vs. William Regal and Tajiri (c) Simon Dean and Maven, and La Resistance were in the ring, and this is a triple threat for the World Tag Team Titles. Regal and Tajiri made their way down as the champions and this should be hectic! The start: Tajiri and Dean started things out with a lockup and Dean grabbed Tajiri by the hair and tagged in Maven. Maven and Dean did push ups together but Tajiri came back with kicks on Maven and he tagged out to Regal. They knocked Maven down with a double chop as Regal took over with an overhead slam and made the cover but La Resistance made the save. Maven tagged in Dean who stomped on the chest of Regal. Dean hit a swinging neck breaker for two. Mid-match notes: Sylvan Grenier tagged himself in and took over on Regal and then made the tag to Conway, and they hit a double team move for two when Dean made the save. Conway clubbed the back of Regal and then hit an uppercut. Conway hit an elbow drop and locked in a rear chin lock. Conway tagged in Grenier but Regal hit a back suplex and tagged in Tajiri as Grenier tagged Conway. Tajiri went to work with kicks and then sent Maven off the apron. The Finish: Tajiri hit a heel kick on Conway but Dean made the save. Tajiri hit a sick kick on Dean to send him out but Maven made a blind tag and came off the top with a cross body for two as Grenier made the save. Regal took care of Grenier as Tajiri hit the Buzzsaw Kick on Maven for the win. Backstage: Triple H was shown backstage and Bischoff showed up. Bischoff said if there is any physicality tonight between him and Batista, he cannot afford any injuries. He said he wants a civil engagement. Triple H said this is Bischoff’s fault. He wanted Batista to stay on RAW, and he is forcing Triple H to go face to face with that ingrate tonight. Triple H said Batista is going to look him in the eyes tonight and realize that at WrestleMania he doesn’t stand a chance. Triple H said if Batista so much as blinks at him, he will be on him, and it will be everything but civil. Muhammad Hassan vs. Shawn Michaels The music of Muhammad Hassan hit in the arena as he made his way to the ring for singles action with Daivari, and he has never been pinned or submitted here on RAW, but tonight is his toughest test as he goes head to head with Mr. WrestleMania, Shawn Michaels. Hassan got on the mic as the fans chanted USA. Hassan said he doesn’t know what the people are screaming about, because they are six days away, he has six more days, until he has to face the prejudice and bigotry at WrestleMania 21. He said he has not been pinned on RAW, but still he is excluded from the biggest show of the year. Tonight, is a different story, tonight, he will have the satisfaction of pinning Shawn Michaels, the so called Mr. WrestleMania, right here in his home state of Texas. Daivari went off on one of his rants as the music of HBK hit in the arena. The start: Michaels and Hassan locked up and Hassan hit a knee to the gut and straight right hand. Hassan hammered away at Michaels but HBK came back with right hands of his own. Michaels clotheslined Hassan to the outside as Daivari screamed away. Michaels slid outside and hit some more shots to Hassan and then chopped him on the chest and sent him back inside. Michaels chopped Hassan in the corner and then whipped him to the other corner and charged in but Hassan got his boot up. Hassan hit some mounted punches on Michaels. Michaels came back and stomped on Daivari’s hand on the apron and then sent Hassan out with a back drop over the top onto Daivari as we go to commercial. Mid-match notes: Back on RAW, and Hassan is in control of Michaels with a surfboard in the middle of the ring. Michaels fought out and chopped Hassan but Hassan took him back down for two. Hassan hit a snap suplex for a two count as Daivari got more agitated on the outside. Hassan hit a back elbow and made the cover for a two and then locked in a rear chin lock. Michaels fought to his feet and chopped Hassan in the corner but Hassan came back with an Irish whip hard into the corner. Hassan stomped Michaels in the corner and then choked him. Hassan sent Michaels hard into the buckle yet again and then gave him a big right hand and stomped on the back of his head. Hassan distracted the referee as Daivari got Michaels in a bow and arrow around the ring post. Daivari then distracted the referee as Hassan did the same. Hassan got back inside the ring and went for the STO but Michaels elbowed out, but then Hassan hit a sledge to the spine. Hassan locked in the Camel Clutch on Michaels as Michaels writhed in pain. Michaels made it to the ropes and Hassan was forced to break the hold. Hassan shouted in the face of Michaels and went for a right but Michaels blocked and came back with right hands of his own. Michaels hit a pair of chops and then a flying forearm and Michaels nipped up. The Finish: Michaels hit an atomic drop and a series of right hands. Michaels hit a big back drop and then slammed Hassan down. Michaels headed up top and Daivari started to panic on the outside. Michaels came off the top with the elbow drop and scored with it. Michaels then began to tune up the band and went for Sweet Chin Music but Angle came in through the crowd and pulled Michaels down and hammered away on him! The Aftermath: Hassan held Michaels and Angle took off his shirt ad went for a right but Michaels ducked and Angle nailed Hassan. Michaels went to work on Angle with right hands but Angle came back with a knee to the sternum. Angle went for the Angle Slam but Michaels floated over and went for Sweet Chin Music but Angle moved and Michaels nailed Hassan. Angle got out of the ring and Michaels invited him back inside, but Angle was escorted out by security through the crowd. Backstage: Bischoff was backstage berating security about Angle getting in the building tonight. He said he wants them to go out and get every security guard they can find. He said they are sitting on one big power keg, and it’s about to blow us all to hell when Batista and Triple H face off here tonight. In the arena: The music of Eric Bischoff hit in the arena as he made his way out as the General Manager of RAW, with a bunch of security, and the Batista and Triple H face off is going to happen next! Back on RAW and Bischoff is in the ring, and security surround the ring. There is a table set up with chairs on both sides. Bischoff said each superstar will have the opportunity to say whatever they want to their opponent, without any concern for physicality. Bischoff then introduced the Game, the Cerebral Assassin, the World Heavyweight Champion, Triple H! The music of Triple H hit as he made his way down, with Ric Flair tailing behind him and in six days his World Championship is on the line against his former friend and protégé, Batista. Triple H took his seat at the table and put his feet up as Bischoff introduced the Number One Contender to the World Heavyweight Champion, the Animal, Batista! Batista made his way down to the ring to a big pop from the crowd. Triple H got up as Batista got in the ring, and they stared at each other. Bischoff asked them to be seated. Batista sat down looking cool and cocky as the fans chanted his name. Bischoff told Triple H that as champ, he can go first. Triple H, still standing, took the mic and told Batista he was an ungrateful piece of crap. This is how he repays him? Everything they have done for him, and this is the payment they get. They said Batista doesn’t get it. Triple H said everything Batista is, he gave him. Triple H said he made Batista. Does he think these people knew his name before he met Triple H? Not one of them. Triple H said he plucked Batista from obscurity and made him a star. Not because he had to or needed to, he was the World Champion long before he met Batista and he still is. Triple H said he let Batista come along for the ride. He said that Batista was nothing when Triple H found him, he was absolutely nothing, and in six days, he is going to put him back where he found him. This ride, Dave, is over. Triple H told Batista too look him in the eye and see his future, and see the truth. In six days at WrestleMania 21, his future is gonna happen, it will be the day he finds out that he made the biggest mistake of his life. In his eyes he sees the truth, and the truth is he cannot beat the Game. Now what do you have to say about that? Batista stood up and took the mic. What does he have to say? Are you talking to me? Batista said thank you to Triple H for everything that he and Ric Flair have taught him. Batista said Ric Flair is without a doubt a true legend. Batista said he has two things to sat to Triple H. Next Sunday at WrestleMania 21, he is going to take his World Heavyweight Title. Two, you are an asshole! The fans started an asshole chant at Triple H as he threw the table over. Batista and Triple H got face to face and H looked like he was going to explode. The fans heavily chanted for Batista as the two were nose to nose. Triple H backed off a little, and then looked at Flair and then slapped Batista right across the face! Batista smiled and told him thank you and then took him down and hammered away on him. Flair tried to pull him off but Batista continued to hammer away. Security got Batista off and Triple H sucker punched him and then Batista threw all the security off and exploded on Triple H again. Triple H tried to get out of the ring but Batista dragged him back in as security restrained the Animal. Triple H escaped up the aisle as Batista’s music hit and this Sunday we would have a new World Heavyweight Champion as Batista plays the Game!
